I’ve made in excess of a dozen orders from Grimfrost from 2017 to 2025.
The service is second to none with efficient international postage to Australia. I’ve purchased gym wear (for the wife), historical clothing, armour, jewellery and the odd ornamental piece.
Sizes tend to run a little large. If prices seem expensive remember you are purchasing quality items. Try to take advantage of seasonal sales. I throughly and sincerely recommend Grimfrost to any potential customers.

I have no complaints with Grimfrost. They have always provided well made and great products. Would love to be able to get hold of some of their meads, but my country doesn't allow

I have been looking for more natural and comfortable clothing for a while and found this website. I really like the style of clothes and decided to order one berserker short, 1 linen pants and 1 wool pants.
With the intention of buying much more in the future.

I have no experience with buying clothes online and did the best I could with the measurement guide.
When my order arrived I was extremely happy with the quality of every item. They all do feel very natural and comfortable and exactly what I was looking for.
I also really like the design of the Berserker shorts.

However, when trying to fit them, both the linen and wool pants are perfectly in length, only half of the width and I could not pull them over my thighs.
Where I used the exact same measurements for the shorts and these fit absolutely perfectly.
It seems impossible to me that there are people out there who have my length but half my width, since I am already not a very wide person (these sizes would only be fitting to actual living stick figures)

There was no solution from the customer service other then a refund if I send the non fitting items back.
I thought I would receive a shipping label so that the shipping on my end is free, something I thought would be normal in 2025, but no.
I have to cover the shipping costs myself for the two pants that have a ridiculous size and I used the same method for fitting the shorts that do fit perfectly. Because somehow it is my fault that using the same method, one does fits and the others not.

I am still happy with the shorts, I really like the fabric. However, after a few washes (always inside out and on 40c) the print already starts to fade after a few weeks.

So basically, because of the faulty measurements which is partially to blame on myself but certainly also partially on the guide on the website. I am left with a very comfortable short with an already fading print on for double the price as is advertised on the website.

Extremely disappointing and I wont be buying from this website anymore.

I have a couple costume pieces from this company, and they really add nice details that pull the look together. One time I had to return an item I wanted to give to someone who was NOT good for me, and they were incredibly helpful with the process. High quality products based on archeological and historical finds, along with more modern offerings, make them a special company.

Grimfrost the best company I've ever had the pleasure to work with! Their products are awesome and made with quality and craftsmanship at the forefront. I LOVE their products so much that I purchase their products, at retail, for resale in my own shop at events. So that folks here in the US understand the sizing and fit. Prices, excellent. Shipping is Shipping. I have constantly received speedy delivery that has NEVER disappointed! Their books are library worthy and a sacred part of my personal library.
I can reccommed them hardly and without reservation.

This is the second drinking horn that I have purchased from Grimfrost and I could not be happier. It is perfect for enjoying our homemade mead. A second holster and stand is in my future. I am the envy of my group as they purchased their cups from a competitor and discovered that there is no comparison to the quality and authenticity.

I ordered from Grimfrost thinking the final price I paid at checkout was the total. Nowhere during the checkout process was I clearly informed that I’d be responsible for £61 in UK customs fees. That’s a significant cost and should have been stated upfront, not hidden in a vague shipping policy link after the fact.

When I reached out to support, they replied once with a generic link to their shipping policy, told me that the "prices have been adjusted" pop up, was sufficient to inform me that i would actually be paying custom fees.
Obviously it was not, i assumed i had a first time buyer discount.
They then completely stopped responding. I’ve followed up multiple times, but they’ve ignored me since.

This kind of lack of transparency and poor customer service is unacceptable especially from a company charging premium prices. Under UK consumer law, failing to disclose additional charges is considered a misleading omission.

Be very cautious ordering from outside your country they seem happy to take your money and disappear when there’s a problem.

Ordering at Grimfrost every single time again is an absolute pleasure! Very fast shipping to Germany (and worldwide too, I guess).

Grimfrost is a great company. I love their products. I bought a drinking horn and a Yule goat for my son’s tribute wall. He would have loved the items we picked for him. I also bought my 11 year old the next size Viking in Training shirt. All items are great quality.

I’ve been buying from and following Grimfrost since they dang near started. I love the historical items as I’ve loved reading both myth and historical information since I was a kid. All of the items I’ve bought from them have always arrived on time and have worked well for me. I do wish their sizing charts were a little more accurate but it is a small thing. I have recommended them to several friends and family.

I ordered two items for my Grandson who is 6’7”. The items fit him perfectly and if you didn’t know, you would think that they were tailored just for him. We definitely recommend Grimfrost and will be purchasing from them again… great merchandise!
