Gronemann Ure is what all watchmakers/vintage watch shops should strive to be. Professional, service-minded, patient, and honest. Walking into the store is an experience in and of itself, where the ticking of antique clocks and assortment of artworks and watches brings you into a different world than the bustling streets outside. The owner is deeply interested in watches (if you're after a rare Rolex, he's your guy,) and not only works on clocks and watches, but oversees several apprentices from the Danish school of watchmaking, participates in the Copenhagen Watchmakers Guild, and even finds time to appear on watch podcasts with local celebrities and fellow watch nerds. Several of his previous apprentices are national champions of Skills Denmark and have medals from the Copenhagen Tradesmans Union for exceptional work during their education.

If you're even a little bit interested in watches or clocks, this place is a must if you're in Copenhagen.
