I signed up for a 30 day free trial for Groove3.com offered by a company who's software I purchased. The course provided for said software is described as having "comprehensive tutorials" on all aspects and features, and is normally priced at $26.
In fact, the course is a series of short, five-minute-or-less videos totalling just under two hours. Each is supposed to cover a particular feature, but is literally just someone messing about with various settings... the same settings, again and again... with no explanation on what they are or how to use them effectively. In the two hours I spent watching, I learnt absolutely nothing that I didn't already know from reading the short manual included with the software itself, and was left with the exact same questions on the features I wanted tuition on in the first place. If I'd actually paid money for this course, I would be very, very unhappy indeed.
In short, I do not recommend that anyone pays money for Groove3's products. You could be paying $20+ for little more than a video version of the software's own manual.
I used them and loved the tutorials. very easy to follow and understand.
I don't understand how they turn simple plugins into super-long-complicated "explanations".
