The sole began to separate after about 5 days of mostly indoor wear. I also noticed they were being sold at Walmart for about 85% less (which they denied knowledge of). The customer service rep initia... See more

Shipping address foul
This company uses a service that automatically provides your address. Trouble is, you can correct that address when you place an order but you cannot find what platform is supplying that information to the seller so that you can fix it more permanently.
I have run into this before and think I am addressing the issue approriately. However, my order was sent to an address I haven’t used in YEARS and I have no proof that I did/didn’t correct the ship-to address.
It’s frustrating and irritating to lose money on a purchase because a company relies on a service to which you have no access. It seems they bear some responsibility here and of course they claim the order was delivered. Yes, to an incorrect address. In another state.
Poor service
I purchased a pair thinking they would be good for spin class. They aren't. The soles are way too thin. They are fine for just short errands though. The negative part comes where they offered a "bonus" pair of shoes for a greatly reduced rate. I said sure. My credit card was charged, but the second pair never arrived. I tried to dispute it with them through paypal and they gave the shipping number for the first pair, saying they had been shipped. VERY frustrated and disappointed in their service. I will be taking this up with my credit card company.
ZERO STARS!!
ZERO STARS!!! Adam claims it's all a misunderstanding... What a crock!!! Paid for GROUNDED SHOES ( RUN FROM THIS COMPANY)
STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY ORDER. GAVE A FICTITIOUS TRACKING NUMBER ( USPS, THEY HAVE NO RECORD)! " I am personally going to the warehouse and check on your order" 😂😂😂 !
Folks!!! Run from Adam and his grounded shoe company!!! HE IS A SCAM!!!!
Returning a pair of shoes is a…
Returning a pair of shoes is a nightmare. I wouldn’t purchase from them again because of their customer service.
I purchased a pair of Freedom Grounded…
I purchased a pair of Freedom Grounded Shoes from Grounded Footwear and contacted the support team about how I intended to use their shoes. I explained that I do a 4 mile walk on the streets of my neighborhood and walk at a very brisk pace. They assured me that their shoes would provide enough support for my walks. After my walk 4 mile walk my feet were very sore and stressed my FHL tendon and it completely ruptured. I would advise anyone that purchases these shoes to only walk on softer surfaces.
Don't recommend
I bought a pair of these. I really loved them at first. Less than 60 days later they are falling apart at the toe area where cloth and rubber come together . In fact there are holes. I contacted them and they said because I had worn them they couldn't take them back. Offered me a small percentage off a new pair. Why would I buy another pair of black ones when they don't stand behind their products. They offered 15% refund.... I am out alot more. I wouldn't recommend any company who doesn't stand behind their products.
Their 30 day complete satisfaction…
Their 30 day complete satisfaction guaranty is total BS! Read the fine print!! The item can only be returned if unused, unopened and in original packaging. How the hell do you try them to see if they fit or are as comfortable as advertised?!?! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!
I bought a pair of these shoes
I bought a pair of these shoes, they did not fit, nor did I like the material they are made from. I returned them in good faith and perfect condition the next day and they did not give my money back even though I had proof of the purchase....they are a terrible company! People must be very vigilant in returning their shoes, I had lots of proof and emails saved but they still did not give my money back.....scam!
Meh!
Comfortable. Lightweight. But the shoe liner does not stick to bottom of shoe so it comes out every time I take them off. Eventually tore and I can’t find a good replacement, I tried to return within 30 days and instead of just taking them back for a full refund we had to negotiate a price where I would be willing to keep them.
Barefoot shoes at bare minimum quality
This will be a detailed review comparing them to Xero shoes and Altra running shoes, both of which are similar barefoot shoes, though Altras have some padding for distance runners. Grounded Footwear shoes fail on every possible front while still technically qualifying as barefoot shoes.
1. Quality: Downright cheap. Shiny plastic film quality of build. Feels like a cheap pair of slippers and while the size forms to your foot, it twists and slips at every movement. The lace is a cheap bungee, so you can rest assured it will come loose in a hurry.
2. Form: The toe box is wide, but the center and heel are narrow, and the toe pads are ridiculous. Place a thin sheet of cardboard under your foot, cut it so thing that you have to carefully balance on it, and place small pebbles under each toe to further throw off your balance. That is the Grounded Footwear experience.
3. Utility: I prefer to life barefoot, but the gym understandably does not allow this, so I use barefoot shoes. Using these for squats is a recipe for injury. I was struggling to maintain my balance and form as I had to focus more on the awful shoe design than on my form. The flat shape is fine, but it is far too thin on the bottom with far too flimsy a material around it to keep it beneath your feet. You will wind up half off the thin support and angled off of your own shoes.
4. Comparison: I have used Xero shoes for over a year now for this same purpose, and Altras for running. Their toe box is wider than Grounded, the front does not have that absurd bump under each toe, and the overall base pad of the shoe is wide enough that you do not slip off of it.
5. Conclusion: Sum total, this fails to be a viable shoe for any purpose. This is a safety hazard and an embarrassment, they should all be ashamed. Oh, and you can't return them once opened, so enjoy contributing to cheap plastic waste. No wonder there's no option to leave a review on their website.
This company 100% is fraud
This company 100% is fraud. it is located outside of US. The Return address is a PO number and there is no warehouse.
You have to show proof of return, because everything is operated outside of US.
I will be contacting FBI
Sizing OK, delighted !
When tracking came through, the sizes were wrong. I'd spent quite some time checking the reviews, to see which company came out the best. I've not yet received my shoes, just hope they're OK, as returning them seems a nightmare ! However, I have since emailed them and they've clarified that the sizing is correct, so I'll update once I get them. UPDATE 11 June : Both pairs are super comfortable and I am very pleased with them. I've been complimented on their look too ! Would recommend them. My feet feel more relaxed in them, than other shoes and neuropathy is reduced.
Fraudulent business?
Was sent wrong size for 2 pr shoes I ordered thru ad on Facebook. NO paperwork/invoice accompanied shoes, so no return address or phone, therefore no way to return or exchange. I have no proof of purchase other than 2 prs of shoes I cannot wear and a credit card statement with no contact info for the entity from which I purchased these shoes.
Grounded Footwear shoes
I ordered a pair of shoes, and I like them so much I've ordered two more pair. The price is incredibly low. The shoes are so light that I hardly know I'm wearing them, and they slip on which is a nice feature. Shipping is a bit slow, but I expected this, and the shipping can be tracked.
well for starters the minute i opened…
well for starters the minute i opened the shoes i new they were poorly done, im on my feet all day. they were plastic.
next is the return process which they claimed was free, i paid to return them through ups with a return recipt and still no credit on my credit card. I will be reporting them to my credit card and to better business. Fraudulent do not order!!!!!
Poor quality; poor return experience
I wore the shoesfor a 2 mile morning walk, the day after receiving them. I had a blister halfway through the walk. When completed, a hole was worn in the side of the shoe. Complete lack of foot support, uncomfortable, and very flimsy. On top of that, the company did not honor the 30 day money back guarantee because I had worn them and they were not in new condition. (How else can you try out a shoe without wearing it???) Buyer beware. Expensive lesson for me, but hopefully not for others who read this.
Worst experience
This will be my third time I’ve written a review and it just disappeared. I’m so stressed and appalled with my experience. I ordered barefoot sneakers which I thought were $28.00 that was through Amazon not grounded footwear when I received the sneakers I was charged $69.00 I returned them immediately. I was charged $7.00 for shipping. I contacted Grounded Footwear giving the tracking number only to learn there was an additional charge of $9.99. Therefore I was out of pocket of $17.00 for absolutely nothing. I checked to make sure of how it could have gone do wrong. Grounded Footwear a price of $55.99 30 day return free by 4/8. Never saw this barefoot sneaker with a price of $69.00 I’m elderly and would never spend that on these barefoot sneakers. This company is a disgrace and dishonest. They are taking advantage of people who have trust that they are dealing with honesty. I therefore will contact the Better Business Bureau and take it from there to another complaint venue,,till I get satisfaction for how I was taking advantage of this company. Grounded Footwear.
Shoes had a horrible rubber odor
Shoes had a horrible rubber odor. Had a lot of trouble getting a refund because I lost the tracking number. Thanks to a wonderful postal worker, I found my receipt. But they kept $10 for shipping, which was not in their ad and I paid $9 to return the shoes. Ad said 100% guaranteed
BIG LIE! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!
SCAM ARTISTS..REPORTED
REPORT TO FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION/ ALERT YOUR BANK OR CREDIT COMPANY, LIKE I PAID THROUGH PAYPAL.
So, I ordered two pair in mid December. I knew better. So $135.00 later, mid JAN 1924, they wont refund because I lost my tracking number.WHERE does it say in the ad?
They have my Name, address, order number, and date purchased. They have my return which I paid $16. A true scam….saw BTW, exact/identical shoes on TEMU for $8.00 a pair. Everything comes from China.
I ordered a pair of shoes from grounded…
I ordered a pair of shoes from grounded footwear but they were too small. I tried to reach them to return for a larger size but couldn’t reach anyone to exchange . This went on for many days to no avail.
