Groupvestors is a Connecticut-based document preparation and administrative coordination platform built for homeowners navigating foreclosure, tax liens, and complex property situations; and for the families and trusted friends who want to help them. We were founded in Waterbury with a straightforward belief that most homeowners facing a property crisis already have people in their corner. What they often lack is structure: a clear, organized way to coordinate that support, formalize participation, and move forward together. Groupvestors draws inspiration from a tradition practiced across cultures for generations — known as Susu in West Africa, Partner in Jamaica, Tanda or Sol in Latin America, and Ajo in Nigeria. Communities have always pooled resources to help one another through hard times. We didn’t invent that idea. We organized it for modern homeownership. We help homeowners and their personal networks — family members, close friends, trusted community members — create the legal and administrative structure needed to act together. That includes LLC formation coordination, equity participation documentation, contribution tracking, and the workflow support that turns a willing circle into an organized one. We are not a “we buy your house” company. We do not purchase homes, pressure homeowners into selling, or profit from distressed situations. Our focus is on keeping homeowners informed, organized, and in control of their own outcomes, with the people they already trust beside them. We serve homeowners across Connecticut — in Waterbury, Hartford, Bridgeport, New Haven, Stamford, and surrounding communities — who are exploring options before foreclosure, organizing around a tax lien, or building a clearer shared ownership structure with people they know. Groupvestors is not a law firm, lender, brokerage, or investment advisor. We provide template-based document preparation and administrative coordination services. We always recommend independent legal and financial counsel before any major real estate decision.

New ways to use Susu…

I seen our family try to pull money together from friends and relatives to stop tax lien auctions, but everything usually feels rushed and all over the place. Honestly wish more homeowners knew about Groupvestors sooner. They bring structure and organization to situations that are normally just pure stress and confusion. Definitely something I’d recommend people look into early.

Groupvestors is the Kind of Innovation Homeowners Actually Need

I been to many auctions n watched families lose their homes over tax debts so small. Seeing someone lose years of hard work over a situation that spiraled out of control is honestly heartbreaking. That’s why I was genuinely impressed when I learned about what Groupvestors is building. Instead of treating homeowners like transactions, they’re creating a structured way for people to organize support from friends and family before things completely fall apart. It’s one of the first ideas I’ve seen that actually feels human and community-focused instead of predatory. Glad to have worked with the team during the early days of this project! Wishing the family continued success

Groupvestors Helps Homeowners Think Beyond Traditional Options

What stood out to us about Groupvestors was how different the idea felt compared to everything else out there for homeowners. Most companies only gave us one option, but this was the first time someone explained a way to work together with people we already trusted.

The platform made it easy to organize everything, open our LLC, and actually create a structure around our situation instead of feeling stuck. It felt modern, practical, and honestly refreshing compared to the usual runaround homeowners deal with.

Big thank you to the team for being available throughout the process and answering every question we had. You can tell they’re building something genuinely innovative for homeowners.
