GROWBOT seems like a scam
I liked how BEN from Growbot was quick to respond to queries and seemed genuine. He is based in The Netherlands apparently. I followed the instructions, put some test money in to my Startrader trading account and linked his growbot. That was 5 months ago. Within a month I was down 50%. I hovered there until yesterday when I dropped to approx 75% loss. I had previous txt messages to him directly voicing my concerns but it was the same response every time. Just wait, it's designed to recover long term blah blah blah... no solutions, just wait. Today I laughed at his responses a d then 2 hours later my Startrader account went down to $0.89... yes... 89 cents NZD. Coincidence? I love how I just waited... and waited... and waited... till my money was all gone. Thanks for that Ben.

Growbot is just a scam. I tried using it and saw the positive reviews on trustpilot but the bot is really just a bot. It keeps placing trades and doesn't close them even when that trade is at a huge loss. The loss keeps on piling and piling while the bot keeps placing more trades and making more losses for you. I have lost all my money with growbot in just over a week.

Using Growbot for 10 months now
I’ve been using Growbot for about 10 months now.
It started with the EuroGrower bot, which initially delivered pretty good profits when I first started using it, but after a while, the losses began to increase to the point where they couldn’t be recovered.
The Growbot team has also discontinued this bot.
For the past few months, I’ve been using the new DaxGrower system, and it looks very promising. The results over the last three months have been very good. It seems that I will more than make up for the losses from EuroGrower in the near future. Ben and his team are also very helpful and respond quickly.

My journey with Growbot comes to an end…
My journey with Growbot comes to an end after three months. I don’t want to harm the Growbot team with this review, but I do want to share my honest experience.
I tested the bot for three months—first only the Euro-Grower, and later also the DAX-Grower for a few weeks after the Euro-Grower was left to run on its own. Overall, this experience cost me almost exactly 15% of my account, around €500.
The bot seemed unable to recover these losses, and what ultimately made me quit was that, during its attempts to recover, the profits were extremely small—around €15 on some days, far below what was advertised. Worse still, on those winning days the subscription fee deducted €3 per day, even while I was still down €500 from my initial deposit.
When I raised this with the Growbot team, I didn’t receive a real solution—just the response that markets sometimes turn out that way and an apology for my loss. Meanwhile, in the community chat, user stories of strong profits are shared, but after three months of consistent losses, I’m left questioning how representative those stories really are.
It’s definitely not a guaranteed system, and certainly not the 12–15% monthly returns that are advertised. Perhaps I was naïve to believe in that promise, but I also notice that Growbot does not publish official track records through platforms like Myfxbook, which might speak for itself.
To be fair, I genuinely believe the Growbot team doesn’t intend to mislead people and that they are trying to build something that works. Unfortunately, in my experience, it simply didn’t.

My honest experience over 1 year time - don't do it...
Here is my honest experience and take on Growbot
My summary advice: do not do it!
I started over a year ago on growbot when they were trading on Gold and EUR/USD. The EUR/USD was showing weak performance so they shifted purely to gold, promoting awesome returns. Some impressive results on a daily basis until 50% of my account was wiped out in 1 day!
The team blamed the broker, the broker blamed the bot... Their service team does react quickly to requests but without resolution
I decided to give them another chance and was asked to select a new broker (read - the team earns another commission), which I did. A few months later another 20% of my account was wiped away.
Here is a summary of the strategy that I observed
- In the public TG groups, only winning day screenshots are posted, no losing days.. misleading..
- in the private (member) TG groups, there is honest communication about the losses BUT.. everytime there is a loss, they come out with a NEW system, that will certainly recover the losses.. I witnessed that 4 times in one year, with only more losses as a result.
- Commissions are paid on short timeframes (daily or weekly) so they make money on winning days, and don't lose on losing days
I cannot testify to the intention of Growbot, I would not classify it as a scam, rather than a non-reliable service.

We’re always transparent that trading carries risk especially during volatile conditions and individual results may vary depending on how the bot is used.
Regarding broker commissions: yes, some brokers do offer referral models, but this doesn’t affect trading performance. Our team does not earn based on whether a user wins or loses and we never hide losses. In fact, we openly communicate both wins and losses in our private channels to keep things transparent.
Strategy updates are made when needed to adjust to market changes not to “reset the story,” but to improve over time, which is normal practice in algorithmic trading.

Small gains followed by BIG losses
Started off well with small daily profits then a BIG loss which wiped out all the profits and some original trading capital. Then quite a few more winning days but once again all profits wiped out due to another big loss. This is the third automated trading bot I've tried and so far they all follow the same pattern. Lots of small gains then a BIG loss. I'm not a very experienced trader but don't get why the gains are tiny in comparison to the losses. I would have thought an automated bot would have stopped out much sooner rather than allow big losses. I cancelled my account.

It’s true that our trading team occasionally steps in manually. This is not to override the system, but to protect the performance of our master account, which clients can choose to copy. In this case, we intervened to limit the drawdown on our account to -9%, rather than allowing it to reach a projected -25%. As a result, those copying the bot also benefited from the reduced loss. These decisions are made to uphold equity protection parameters and preserve long-term strategy performance.
That said, if you prefer full control over the bot's actions, we offer a VPS option where you can run the trading bot independently on your own account—completely free from any intervention.

Non-Existent Automated Profits!
GrowBot presented itself as the ultimate solution for effortless Forex trading, promising consistent profits through its sophisticated automation. My experience, unfortunately, revealed a starkly different reality.
The initial onboarding process was riddled with red flags.
The platform's interface, while appearing sleek, was confusing and lacked crucial transparency regarding its trading algorithms. The promised educational resources were superficial and did little to explain the underlying strategies.
The automated trading itself proved to be anything but profitable. Despite the bold claims and impressive-looking backtests, the bot consistently executed trades that resulted in losses. The promised risk management features seemed ineffective, as significant portions of my capital were eroded in short order.
Attempts to gain clarity from their support team were met with evasive answers and generic reassurances. Specific questions about the bot's logic or trade execution were consistently dodged. It became increasingly clear that the advertised "cutting-edge technology" was either non-existent or fundamentally flawed.
The promised returns never materialized. Instead, GrowBot facilitated a rapid depletion of my investment. Individuals seeking reliable Forex automation should exercise extreme caution before entrusting their capital to this platform.

This bot blew my account yesterday
This bot blew my account yesterday, after they sent a message out to everyone that markets had settled and we were good to go. They then sent out another message around uk lunch time to say they were closing trades for a loss.
Not much use to people at work and no access to pc.
As for their fake marketing, they will never share their losses in the public telegram group, instead when they have losing days they just publish a screenshot from someone from ages ago about some profit they made.
They don't care if your trades win or lose as they still collect commission from your blown accounts.
Don't trust anything they say on thier public channel, it's all smoke and mirrors.
Every now and then you see a guy called flynn, saying how great this software is etc etc, if its that great why did it lose me 2000 euros.
Don't believe their fake advertising.
I refute their allegation i was over leveraging my account, I was using the recommended lot size as per their guidelines for size of account balance.
I challenge them to show this proof of advising me 10 times to reduce my risk, I maye have access to my account but I used growbots setfile, so this is down to them.
