Bought a photontek sq300 from growershouse. The light works great...when it works. Mine died after 6 weeks. Photontek was VERY slow acting in replacement process (took them a week to respond to Growershouse staff and 2 weeks to reply to me). Filled out 4 contact forms for them. Took 3 weeks to get replacement and that was with Next Day Air shipping. With that kind of turnaround time for the price of this light, I could've bought 2 others and possibly had a better replacement experience (if it was even needed).
Growers House however, was amazing. Replied quickly to my concerns (within 2 hours of initial contact). They even offered a replacement from their stock but I declined as I did not feel it was their responsibility to rectify the situation despite them doing exactly that. So 8 stars for growers house. Will come back for all my future needs. 0 stars for photontek. The light was nice. The service was extremely lackluster.
