Interests rates dropping!
Interests rates dropping. Only priority rate is actually invested and it doesn't automatically follow the market rate. The whole operation needs a serious overhall. The management should concentrate on lending money, get new borrowers and the rate should go back up.
Great Experience
Great Experience, easy to use and good communications
Growth Street is a very professional …
Growth Street is a very professional and helpful platform and I like that the loan contracts are only 30 days duration. The downside is the length of time it takes for your money to be matched if you don't use the priority rate. The market rate is calculation of the rates used over the last 30 day period, so constantly using the priority rate forces the market rate down
Not great so far
Interest rates have dropped over the last 2 months when the market has generally been increasing. Long wait to get deposits matched and loans are of short duration (1 month) meaning money is only earning interest for a short period before being back in the queue.
No email notification on activation
It would be good to have an email notification when money is actually loaned.
Money takes too long to be loaned
I have had money invested in Growth Street for three months. Everything was good to start with but now finding that money sits in queue for many days waiting to be lent. Add that to the fact that most loans are only for 1 month and it means huge drop in earned interest. Better P2P lending sites are available.
Joined the platform about 3 months ago
Joined the platform about 3 months ago. Rates were at 6.2% and money was invested quickly. After a very short period of time severe lags with investment of money with money sitting in the queue for up to 6 days and together with early repayment of loans meant that lots of interest being lost in un invested money. Rates have dropped 4 times in the past 2 months without prior notice or notification when it happens even if your money is queued. Terrible customer service. They don't respond to questions or emails. I've got quite a lot of money invested with them but they are too busy or arrogant to reply to basic concerns. I've slowly been taking my money out and reinvesting in other platforms.
Very Slow Reinvestment
very slow reinvestment. Money sits on an account way too long without gaining interest. Market rates keep changing without prior notification.

Amazing service with Growth Street
I have been a lender for nearly 3 months
I have been a lender for around three months and have found Growth Street to be a great alternative to other P2P platforms. Intuitive design and well functioning platform with competitive interest on my investment.
Highly recommend
Nice platform. Simple to use and decent return for 30 day access
Good in principle
Good in principle, but...over two months my money has been sitting in the account waiting to be matched with loans for a total of around three weeks, even though I chose the priority (lower) rate. In addition, the rates have dropped 0.3% since I joined and seem to keep going down at regular intervals. In summary, the real interest rate has been much lower than the one advertised by Growth Street.
Growth street is good in every way …
Growth street is good in every way apart from money becoming un -
invested and waiting to be re - invested. I have had most of my investment waiting 2 weeks at PRIORITY rate not earning interest. My son has had the same experience. Not happy, considering moving else ware even for a lower rate.
Since writing this review I am happy to confirm that Growth street has made every effort to rectify the situation, and my investment is now producing a much better return. At 5.3% it is not the best rate available but is OK, and I intend to continue with Growth street for the foreseeable future.
Great to do business with....
Great to do business with and very responsive, would highly recommend. Their borrowing setup is very flexible and they offer competitive rates.
A great P2P site
The site is easy to use, providing clear information on the status and performance of loans. The rates available are also attractive.
So Far So Good
I've been invested for a relatively short time but my experience to date has been good. It can take a while to get cash invested & interest rates have fallen a bit of late. In the world of P2P Growth Street appears to be a well run company with a hands off easy to use investor website.
Not as good as the headline rates suggest
The Growth Street lending model (30 day loans) and ease of use of the website are both very appealing, as is the ability to switch on automatic re-investment to allow a supposedly hands-off approach to growing your investment. This is one of my favourite P2P companies, but there are several niggles which have led me to feel the need to write this review.
In the 3 months I have been using GS, the rates have dropped by more than 0.5% and seem to drop by 0.1% in a perpetual downward cycle every couple of weeks. Not only is this disappointing in itself (as interest rates elsewhere seem to be starting to climb), but when this happens, any money waiting to be re-lent 'freezes' at the old 'priority' rate and is no longer given priority in the lending queue. I am yet to discover how long it actually takes for this cash to be re-lent but have been waiting 24 days so far, so the interest rate on this amount will be a mere 1% assuming it is lent today. The solution seems to be to cancel the order and manually re-invest it, but what is the point of selecting automatic re-investment at the priority rate if you have to manage it yourself or not be treated as PRIORITY? The website does explain that this is what happens to priority rate orders when the rate changes, but it makes no sense to do this and the model needs to change before too many people get fed-up with it.
The other developing trend seems to be the increasing amount of time it takes for money to be re-lent. I note this used to be displayed on the website but seems to have disappeared and can only assume that this is because it is now not an attractive statistic to display with an obvious imbalance between lenders and borrowers. When I joined it was taking 1-2 days, now more like 4-5 days, so again, the effective interest rate if this happens every 30 days for a year is much less than the publicised rate.
Finally, GS have been very forward in their advertising of the fact that they have reached over 1,000 investors, but I would suggest they need to work harder at finding more borrowers before those lenders start to disappear elsewhere.
Overall, it's a shame and I hope GS take note of these points and do something about it because with these glitches fixed, I would be giving 5 stars.
Growth Street quite rightly rated very highly by 4thWay
Over the years i have invested in several Peer to Peer Lenders . I have recently discovered Growth Street and it will be my preferred option in future . Your money gets invested quickly at great rates and is by far the most flexible .
