There was no need - the piece was exactly as described (with its authenticity verified independently by my local AD when it arrived). Communication was excellent - so important in this business, so I can’t recommend Guardian of Time enough.

Disappointing Experience with Lost Shipment
I recently had a frustrating experience purchasing a Zenith Chronomaster Sport watch from Guardian Of Time on Chrono24.
The watch was never delivered to me, despite Guardian Of Time's assurances that they had shipped it.
The issues began when the watch was supposedly delivered by FedEx one day I was not home, but without any signature required. The tracking showed the package was left unattended at the entrance of my building, and the name on the proof of delivery was not mine (so it was faked).
When I contacted FedEx, they opened the investigation proving that the signature was faked and the parcel lost, to they closed the case.
Guardian Of Time then claimed they opened an insurance claim with FedEx Spain, but the process has dragged on for over a month with no resolution and I do not understand the reason why to get the reimbursement I have to wait for GOT to close the case with the insurance.
I've had to repeatedly follow up with them, only to receive vague updates that the insurance investigation is still ongoing. Meanwhile, I'm left without the watch I paid for over 40 days ago.
This lost shipment has been extremely frustrating. As a first-time Chrono24 / Guardian of Time buyer , this experience has severely shaken my trust in the platform and the sellers using it.
Overall, a very disappointing experience that has left me out of pocket and without the watch I was so looking forward to receiving.

We are sorry that this transaction resulted in a lost shipment and understand the frustration caused by the situation.
To provide some additional context, prior to dispatching the watch, we contacted the customer to confirm that they would be available to receive the shipment at the designated delivery address. We received confirmation that the shipment could be received. Following shipment, the circumstances surrounding receipt of the package changed, and these changes were not communicated to us before delivery was attempted. While we fully understand that personal circumstances can change unexpectedly, these factors formed part of a much broader investigation conducted by the carrier and the insurance provider.
As soon as we were informed of the issue, we opened a formal investigation with FedEx and worked closely with all parties involved. Because the shipment had initially been marked as delivered and was subsequently reported as missing, the matter required a detailed review by both the carrier and insurer. This process involved the collection and verification of supporting documentation and unfortunately took considerably longer than anyone would have preferred.
We respectfully disagree with the suggestion that we refused to assist or that we left the customer without support. Throughout the investigation, we remained actively involved, responded to requests from the carrier and insurer, and continued to follow the procedures required to reach a final determination.
We fully appreciate that waiting for the outcome of a carrier investigation can be frustrating, especially when the resolution depends on third-party findings that are outside the direct control of either the customer or ourselves. Nevertheless, we remained engaged throughout the process until the matter was ultimately resolved and a reimbursement was issued.
While we regret that this experience did not meet expectations, we believe it is important to distinguish between a shipping loss investigation involving multiple external parties and the level of service provided by our company. We take every delivery issue seriously and are committed to assisting our customers whenever such situations arise.
