In 2009 Guernsey Self Store introduced a new concept for storage on our small island. We now offer self-contained storage spaces within three purpose built facilities. The first conveniently located on the Braye Road Industrial Estate in St. Sampson (near to Alliance), the second is on Pitronnerie Road in St. Peter Port (next to Target Tyres) and our third facility is close to the airport in Forest. Great service, clean, secure and yellow! great radio station piped in to get your singing along while you unload. Friendly communications and always happy to help. Highly recommended.

Guernsey self-storage is not what makes out to be
Guernsey self-storage is not what makes out to be if you take out one of their units and pay monthly like we did it was fine to the last full month and when i ended it I gave them 10 day's notice but they were not happy with that because they refused to give me the customer a refund of nine days left so i am out of pocket please be where when signing up to a month at a time and leave before your month is up you not get a refund like I was done out of money happy to take your money but not to refund you back from M/D he turned very nasty to me when it came to money he owned me refusing to refund us

Thank you for your kind email earlier this week “Hi Guernsey Self Store i am writing to you to let you know that i am emptying out my items and will be finished with it at the end of friday 4/11/22 and wish to thank you for all your help and support and for looking after me in the time i have been with you thanks mr i mauger”
You appear very happy with our storage facility and our proactive ability to swap rooms as your requirements changed, even refunding the difference. Clearly you are not satisfied with our notice period and refund policy, despite this being verbally explained at the time of your initial storage, printed out for reference later and being reminded when you switched units.
You notified us 10 days before your next monthly fee was due, ensuring you wouldn’t be charged again. but then expected a refund for the final 9 days because you emptied the unit early. In effect that is only 1 days’ notice!
After the required 1 weeks' notice, the unused period was only 3 days, less than our minimum storage period of a week, therefore no refund is due.
I tried to explain this to you, but you were not listening. You were too busy shouting at me.
Does exactly what I needed
It was easy to access the building and my furniture. It provided exactly the service I needed

Staff were extremely helpful & facilities first class
Staff were extremely helpful, I moved from various units as my needs changed & the volume of items stored reduced. The trolleys & sack trucks available on site made moving items very easy. The store was clean & dry with easy access at times to suit me not the operator. Great service

Safe and Secure
Had a unit for many years here , near alliance and moonpig,its safe and secure ,if any lightning, goes down gets foxed straight away, value for money for sure ,will be back if I ever need too ,and recommend to anyone who wants storage ,

Secure and safe units
Found the whole event from obtaining the unit to exiting, very straightforward.
