In just the first three months of 2020 consumer household debt increased by $155 billion. This number is fully expected to have grown at an even faster rate through the rest of 2020 due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Mortgages are the leading category of consumer debt and when combined with student loans, credit cards and auto loans bring total debt levels to a record amount over $14 trillion. Guidestone Law Group’s team of lawyers focuses on debt management solutions to help you get out from under this crushing debt.

They’re handling it just fine
Great job settling my credit card debt with Wells Fargo.
I was skeptical at first, but this company really has done an amazing job settling my credit card debt. It took a little longer than expected, but they got the job done.

Guidestone was great they made thing easy to understand and they were very helpful in the process of getting my finances back on track .

I had my "90-day review" a couple of weeks ago, and I was shocked to learn that after months of paying into the program (my account), to learn that I had less than $1000 in escrow shocked me. I was astounded and dismayed, and will be asking for a refund TOMORROW. I hope the reviews here stating that you didn't receive the full amount are overstated, but I will be seeking a refund of my deposits. I truly wish that I had not been sold a bill of goods by listening to this company. And, in fact, one credit card company stated they don't even work with Guidestone to help resolve consumer debt. So basically, I've been duped. And on top of that, I'm out thousands of dollars. When consumers are desperate and looking for relief, these companies really sell you on how easy a process it will be, and all you have to do is sign your life away. I feel like that's what I did. I 100% regret signing on with Guidestone. And hopefully, I will receive a refund of what I have contributed INTO MY ACCOUNT.

So far I haven't had to do anything but make my monthly payments. I will rate if five stars once the process is complete.
The entire sales pitch I got from…
The entire sales pitch I got from Guidestone was at anytime I can opt out and get MOST of my money back minus the small monthly fees. I have deposited almost 5700 dollars into the account now I am switching to a chapter 13 and I am being told my refund is 606 dollars. No creditors had been paid yet so close to 90% of my money has gone to fees. This is not what I was told , sold or signed. Please stay away and call a non profit. Also do not believe all the fake reviews on their Facebook page. They are all fake.
Stay away. I have just contacted the BBB. Guidestone lies and are thieves.
One of your team members has reached out through my BBB complaint should the resolution be satisfactory I will update my review. Currently pending.
Update 9/1/23. This has been resolved. Only wish I did not have to file a complaint through the BBB to get this resolved. I am satisfied with the refund.

Best Law Group for Debt Solutions
Been with the firm for almost 2 years and yes it has been a slow process to get my debt settled but everything is slowly coming together and I could not be more thankful for this firm working with me in getting my debt taken care of. As long as you are keeping up with your agreed upon payments and following up with any negotiated/approved settlements you will be taken care of. Again this is not a FAST process but it does work.
Please tell me this is not a scam!
I am in the very early stages with this company. After reading these reviews, I have a big concern. First of all, the first call from my so-called lawyer took almost three weeks; even though I left messages with her when I was available, she called me when I wasn't available, even though my availability was made clear. Secondly, my representative who signed me up that claimed he would be here for me thorugh the whole process every step of the way has seemed to ghost me. Please tell me this isn't a scam!

I’ve been doing this going on for two…
I’ve been doing this going on for two years. It was great at first and they have negotiated great deals for me. However, now I received summons from another creditor, I sent it to them. They told me it was incomplete. Sent it again never heard from them for OVER A MONTH. Here we are today…. Received another email- they cannot read or claim it’s “incomplete”, which is a lie.
They literally keep taking my money each month and not want to work.
Judging by some of the reviews, looks like if I try to get out they won’t refund me either. I am pissed!!

Filled with Uncertainty...
I just signed up for the program for debt negotiation. At first I was excited to finally get my finances in order and be able to breath a little better each payday. But all of this talk about law suits and some of these bad reviews I am reading I find myself second guessing myself and I have not even started in the program yet. I am frightened and so unsure what to do.
Do not trust them
Do not trust them! I signed on in May of 2022. I had a identity theft problem and my bank unbeknownst to me stopped my auto payments in August . Easy fix right? When they don’t get paid they will notify me and I’ll pay on the spot and fix the issue. Nope! They said nothing. No email , no phone number or letter in the mail. What I DID get was a letter telling me how I was doing so well in the program. Meanwhile they canceled my account and didn’t tell me that. So I decided to call in November to see if we were close to settle this time only to THEN find out my contract was canceled and then didn’t even notice me of that ! They kept my money and I had to jump through hoops for a measly 139 dollar refund. This is a scam. Robbing the American people . I’m a combat vet on 100 percent disability and this is what I fought and served my country for ? To be screwed over by business’s in my own country. The representatives are rude and unprofessional. Avoid them at all cost. If any Post Commanders are reading this , make this business off limits for all Military Personnel. This is a very professional scam.
Settlement email for approval
Agent very helpful in explaining to me the email I receive about approving a settlement offer. We approved it over the phone.
SCAM
SCAM! They collected almost 7K from me and when I closed my account, they never paid me back. I am in the process of taking legal action. Please, if you are a victim of them, report them to the BBB and on here. I would even consider getting together and blowing the horn publicly about this scam.

I called because the two clients were constantly calling and texting me. Was not sure what to do, until I was told to ignore them. Hallelujah. Yes they still call and I ignore. I was told if it gets to much or I receive written anything to let the Law Group know immediately. I will follow instructions as given. Thank you so much
