Bad marketing/support. Great teacher

In my experience, the teaching was good quality. I learned a lot from the content. However, the marketing was incredibly frustrating and bordered on scam-like. I've lost courses/content I've paid for, and their website changes make keeping track of your actual courses very difficult, instead focusing on trying to sell you more.

Terrible platform

They changed the whole setup and completely botched it. I am unable to keep track of courses in progress and tgey simply do not respond to my requests for help. Except for the lack of responses to issues, I thought it was good for the price. I am about to give up and try something else.

Unethical company that tricks you with…

Unethical company that tricks you with the fine print to sign up for their program. I purchased what I thought was a 5.00 video, booklet and picks. No surprise it was all low quality junk....it was 5.00... What I didn't realize was that I was being given a "free" 30 day trial of their premium program. After 30 days I was charged 299.00! Never even used it. No problem, surely I can just explain it and they will refund me....after all Steve Stine looks so happy all the time. I now know why he looks so happy, he takes people's money and forces them to keep his program. They refused to give me a refund. But gladly they gave me an additional six useless months of a program I won't use. Stay far away from this company!

Charged for something I never wanted

I was a long time member of Guitar Zoom but recently was charged for an All Access Membership for $299 per year. I didn't order it, but it was in the fine print of another product that I ordered that was $5. I didn't know about it until I got the charge on my credit card. They would not refund me the $299 for access to a Digital Product I didn't want.
They aren't interest in helping a long time member. I'm out. There are plenty of places to buy Guitar Tutorials and Lessons. Don't buy them here!

I requested to cancel an auto renew…

I requested to cancel an auto renew subscription and was totally ignored by GuitarZoom support.
When I was charged for the subscription I opened a dispute with PayPal, and only then did they finally responded to my messages.
They stated they would refund my money within 24 hours if I closed the case on PayPal,
But after I closed the case I did not receive the refund, and they ghosted me again.
They are a scam, tech support ignores you, and their site is terrible.
It's been 5 days and all I get os cricketts...
Stay away, far away.

Paid my money but couldn't access the course. Asked for my money back several times, well within the 30 day guarantee & so far all I get is emails sending me links to the website(which still don't work). So far, I have not received the requested refund. Avoid this company. I want my money back but they just fob you off.
