We trusted GulvKanonen to look after our tired old floors and they did not disappoint! The floors had not been done in a very long time and we’re in poor shape. These guys stripped away the ancient varnish and damage and the floors look like new.

Called for sanding plus "lud&saebe" in a single room this week. Fast response and execution time, but the outcome is under-average and not fully satisfactory.
Few hours delay in starting the job in the morning as the workers were not informed about the type of task and had to go and fetch another machine and come back. After applying the "lud" layer, they didn't perform the intermediate sanding, the result being not as smooth as other parts of the house done by another company. Unsatisfactory replies from the customer service on this matter.
Edit - Reply:
a. You flagged my review as "not from a costumer", in spite of me providing invoice nr from the beginning, and thus keeping it offline for more than 3 weeks. Once on-line you were quick in actually recognizing it as from a costumer. Strange.
b. That's not true. We didn't have any phone conversation after the work was done, you didn't offer additional "polering". Your reply to my concern was: 1. Everything was done correctly. 2. I should pass more layers of saebe. Only in the last email you wrote to call if I thought something was wrong with the floor. I didn't call, at this point I would rather deal with somebody else.

Det er korrekt at du spurgte ind til, hvorfor at arbejdsprocessen var en smule anderledes end det vi sendte tilbud på, men som vi sagde telefonisk, så er alle gulve ikke ens, og i nogle tilfælde er det op til gulvmanden at vurdere, hvad der er bedst for dit gulv.
Jeg undre mig over at vi får 2 stjerner, og at du er utilfreds med overfladen, da vi har tilbudt dig at komme ud, og polerer gulvene, selvom at du havde fået vores forklaring. Dette takkede du pænt nej tak til.
Skulle du alligevel ønske at vi kommer ud, og giver gulvene en polering står vi selvfølgelig til rådighed, og gør naturligvis dette uden beregning.

unacceptable business practice
We agreed that GulvKanonen should start sanding our floor on May 2nd 2019. During the preparation we asked the company if they need to have a look at the floor first which they denied. So we removed all the furniture and booked a hotel for the period of the renovation.
On May 2nd, the employee showed up, looked at the floor and said that he cannot do it because there is some unevenness on the floor. He connected me to his boss over the phone and he confirmed that it cannot be done, stating that the floor is basically destroyed and that it needs to be replaced. Then the worker left…
Needless to say that we were in shock, in particular since we explicitly asked GulvKanonen PRIOR to the booking if they need to see the floor first. Also costly arrangements were made from our side based on the commitment GulvKanonen gave to us (booking hotel & removing furniture).
Luckily we were able to find another company who was able to come the same day and they basically said that the statement from GulvKanonen was ridiculous. The “severe damages” they stated were just normal wear & tear which can be easily handled with a normal sanding. The other company finished the job in the meantime and -as expected- the floor looks like new again.
So my conclusion here: either they do not have the knowledge to do an easy sanding of a wooden floor or they were overbooked that day and did not have the balls to inform their customers beforehand. No matter what was the case, it is unacceptable.

Svaret kommer på dansk, da det vil være nemmere for læseren at læse.
Det er helt korrekt at vi havde en aftale om gulvafslibning samt 2x natur olie den 2 maj 2019 mellem 07.00-08.00, og at vi ikke udførte opgaven.
Hvad der IKKE er korrekt er at min kollega sagde at gulvene var for ødelagte/smadret til at kunne blive rettet op. Da du bor på Jens Otto Krags Gade på Amager (Byggeri fra 2006) er der tale om almindelige parketgulve, og disse er ikke massive, og derfor er der ikke mange slibninger i dem.
Gulvene var blevet slebet en del gange før, og min kollega kunne konstatere at gulvene var meget tynde, og dette var årsagen til at vi sagde at vi ikke kunne udføre opgaven. Vi ville ikke tage chancen, da der var stor sandsynlighed for at vi ville ødelægge dit gulv, og du efterfølgende skulle skifte HELE gulvet.
Vi er selvfølgelig kede af at du opfatter det som værende dårlig service, men alt dette er gjort for dit bedste. Vi ser det som god service at informerer kunderne om udfordringerne, og lade kunderne bestemme om de ønsker at tage risikoen der måtte være.
