Simple. Don’t buy if you have trees.

I will keep my review simple. They were very easy to measure and order. They were very easy to install. They were also very easily clogged by the two trees near my house. Had them on less than six months. Every gutter with them installed was overflowing today during a somewhat heavy rain. If I have to completely pull them and clean them multiple times a year when trees drop things on my roof resulting in gutter clogs… then It is no different than climbing up and simply cleaning the gutters multiple times a year. I could have done that without paying for “gutter brush”. I can’t recommend them.

I purchased 204' of gutterbrush…

I purchased 204' of gutterbrush November of last year and really was not able to see if it worked until this year. The leaves seem to just get caught up in the bristles of the brush and pile up on top of the roof. I had to pull the guards out to blow the remaining leaves out of the gutters. Their website says that routine cleaning may be needed but honestly if I have to clean them every year I would rather just get on my roof and blow the leaves out
of them every year. Unfortunately I was just past the 1 year refund policy so I should have tried them out at a different time of the year so I could have seen how they worked with enough time to return them. I could not recommend them.

Thanks for calling yesterday. We are sorry your purchase is not within warranty but glad you had a full year of full flowing gutters with no clogs and no overflows.
As agreed maybe you could have gone much longer, possibly even 2 to 3 yrs without clogs or overflows. I liked your reply that maybe you reinstall them clean and see how long you can go without any cleaning or maintenance. Again, glad you had no clog issues and sorry about the visible leaves. We understand that leaves on the brush makes you want to work on it. Leaves also stick-to and build up on smooth metal guards and screens especially during the fall. Covers and screens often need to be cleaned in the 1st year and brushed off frequently, we believe there's no such thing as a maintenance free gutter guard and encourage you to reinstall your GutterBrush to see how many years you might get. Thanks for the call, Alex GutterBrush.

Excellent product and service!

I ordered through Amazon and accidentally ordered the wrong size.. needed the 4” but ordered the 5” instead. The ones I received were the 6” so now both i and GutterBrush had made a mistake. I thought maybe the 6” would still work so I went ahead and installed them. Boy was I wrong. So I ended up on the phone with the customer service team. They were more than willing to help me get the product I actually needed, as well as make the return process easy on the size that didn’t work for me.

The product fits exactly as I can see it should. I climbed up the next day after installing them and could already see leaves gathering on the roof where they might have otherwise ended up inside my gutter. I live in Arizona and we haven’t had any rain yet since I installed my GutterBrushes, but I expect everything will work fine because there’s plenty of space below the brushes for a lot of water to flow through on its way to the downspouts. I would definitely recommend GutterBrush to anyone looking for a practical solution to stopping clogged gutters.

Great gutter protection system

Order on June 13. Received on June 16. Installed on June 17. Had heavy thunderstorms on June 18 and June 19. The GutterBrush installation had a severe field test from the rain storms. What a gutter protection performance-no stoppage of water drainage from the gutters. I expected the installation to be washed away, but that did not happen!!What a great product and elegant engineering solution for gutter protection. Thanks

Gutterbrush

I have commercial gutters, as this item appears to be my only option.
Installation went quite smooth, however I might have bought the wrong size, time will tell i guess

unique situation

We have a sunroom that has a preformed roof and gutter system, the gutter is barely 3 inches wide, I wasn't even sure the gutter brush would fit. I was pleasantly surprised when the small fit right in and seems to be working great. My only complaint was with the website size listings and specials options were confusing.

Gutterbrush not as ideal as you may think

Finally got round to taking out the Gutterbrush from off my Conservatory. It has probably been 5 years since putting the product between Bungalow and Conservatory, as they share a gutter. After sometime, a mixture of tile grit and what looks like soil, probably broken down mulch from leaves, birds dropping things etc. Honestly, the product became part of the problem. Maybe it needs annual or bi-annual cleaning, but if you're prepared to do that, then just clear the gutters after autumn or winter. Truly disappointed with this product, in my circumstance, at least.

Hello KM - Sorry you are not happy with your GutterBrush experience. Depending on the volume and size of debris landing on a roof and gutter, periodic maintenance is expected with any gutter guards. If you made it 5 years before cleaning was needed I would have hoped that was a positive outcome vs. regular cleaning. Most customers find the limited maintenance with GutterBrush much easier than other gutter guards which are fastened to the gutter or inserted under shingles. Again, I am sorry to hear that you are disappointed and will be happy to discuss any maintenance suggestions if you like. Best Wishes - Randy - GutterBrush

Fantastic product

Fantastic product. I never write reviews, but want to do so this time.
We have trouble with falling needle branches from nearby redwood trees. They are like bottle brushes and cling to everything. I was doubtful that this product would work. Decided to try it on the garage.
The GutterBrushes keep the needles on top and then the wind blows them off.
Yesterday I ordered more GutterBrushes for the rest of the roofs.

They seem to be working fine

They seem to be working fine. Usually I would have needed to climb the ladder a few times already this Fall to unplug the downspouts, typically while it’s raining. The downspouts are flowing well, and we’ve had more rain this winter than usual and snow melt-offs too. We have many big oaks and pines near the house. The gutters usually clog quickly.
The only problem was that the brushes are very slippery, like coated with silicone. Hard to manage more than one slippery brush on the ladder at a time. I had to use a cloth grocery bag as a quiver to hang on the ladder.
I will likely order more to finish the rest of the gutters.

Great product, real good value.

My next door neighbor has two mature Locust trees, terrible mess with 1/4 x 1 1/2" leaves and millions of them! My gutters with standard gutter guard (the kind at the big box stores) would plug constantly. We just had a new roof and gutters installed and I thought I would give these a try. Fantastic product that I was able to install by myself in under an hour, 140' total on 3 levels. I will knock the leaves out next spring if I have any problems, simply remove the pieces that are holding a bunch of those terrible little leaves (still lets water flow without plugging downspouts) and tap on the roof. The leaves just fall out! We have 4 mature Maple trees in our yard, those leaves blow off the brushes in the wind. Excellent product, and I got them at a great price!

Fall is here and Gutter Brush is working well.

Well Worth The Price

This product is brilliant! Such a simple concept, but it works beautifully. Simply lay them in your gutters, and forget about them. I installed GutterBrushes all around my home about 10 years ago. I have not suffered an overflowing gutter since. I did take them out to clean them once - not because the gutters were clogged, but because the trapped debris had become visible from the ground. This current order was placed for installing in a new gutter system on a second home. Now that I'm accustomed to not worrying about cleaning out nasty gutters, I don't intend to do it ever again!
