I had a bike fit with H2 just before getting my first road bike

I had a bike fit with H2 just before purchasing my first road bike. Adam was great in helping me get set up and identifying the right bike and then setting it up. I then had a couple of follow up sessions to get my position on the bike dialed. A few months since the fit and Adam is still very responsive and provides advice via email. Nothing negative to say at all about H2. Definitely recommend.

Really good helpful customer service

Really good helpful customer service, prompt and helpful comms, all excellent. The bike was shipped quickly, built up and checked very carefully, and all at a great p[rice. Excellent.

Rubbish bike, terrible customer service

Bought a brand new Giant bike via H2 gear and waited 10 days to pick up in the store. Broke down 2km out of the store. The staff made no effort to apologise, acknowledge the frustration and time wasted, and made no offer to make things right after all that. Rubbish bikes, terrible customer service. Do yourself a favour and avoid

Hi Mark, thanks for leaving us your feedback. As you have shared the information with Giant UK, we know that you saw our reply to your email last Monday about the issue with your bike. As we said in our original response, we're surprised that you thought our service was 'terrible' as you describe it elsewhere as 'very helpful in advising me on the bike and tweaking it to suit my riding style, answering Qs on the bike, advising me on mudguards etc.'
To reiterate from our original response; of course, we don't want customers to experience issues with their new bikes, but it's impossible to say it won't happen. We offered to get the bike checked in our workshop when you returned it, but when you said you had no time we did the most expedient thing, which was to offer you a full refund.
When we received your complaint via email, the following Monday we offered a new replacement bike with an upgraded pedal.
We did not get a response to the email, so it's difficult to see how you expected us to resolve the situation without engaging with us.
We understand that Giant UK have concurred that we offered the best solution at the time, based on the information you provided.
When handing over your bike we spent an hour ensuring it was right for your needs, making changes to the riding position via the stem, handlebars and seat / seatpost, while answering your questions and providing additional advice. We also explained that we would be offering you a first free service and encouraged you to return if you had any problems.
Clearly, we didn't expect to see you back the same day, but we will always try to make things right, given the opportunity to do so. If you are still searching for a hybrid, please let us know and we will be pleased to arrange an order.

A good bike purchasing experience...

On their website, H2 had the very bike I wanted in stock. The correct make, model, colour and size. I phoned up to make absolutely sure. I was greeted by a friendly, helpful chap who confirmed the availability so I ordered it online. It was delivered in the timescale they said. All in all, a seamless and efficient shopping experience. 100% good experience.
Would happily buy from here again. Well done H2 !
