HairPalace Hair Transplant Clinic Reviews 

This is my second surgery at HairPalace. The first was a real success with around 95% of the implanted hairs growing through and out. My first one was in 2019 which was for the front of my head, this was for the crown. As I was quite far gone it couldn’t all be done in one session. I was due to return in 2020 but covid put a stop to that. I had the same Dr for both procedures, Dr Erika Gucsi. She was so friendly, calm, understanding and patient. The service and building itself is BUPA quality for those of you from the UK. I have recommended this place to so many people and numerous have been and have been delighted with their results. A top top service all round. Thanks HairPalace.

I had my hair transplant at Hair Palace about ten months ago (June 24th 2022).

I purposely left leaving a review until I could see some actual results from the transplant (which, as they will tell you, can take a while).

I’m very happy to say I can and that the results are excellent.

I will leave a longer review here when I have time to write it, but for the moment I need to say: if you are thinking of getting a hair transplant, do not go anywhere else; this is the place. Seriously.

You are talking Harley Street quality in terms of professionalism and honesty. I am so happy I chose here.

I was met at the airport by their cheery driver, put up in a lovely apartment in a nice part of Budapest and a ten minute walk from the surgery. Dropped back to the airport by him. The surgery itself is more professional than I could have imagined. You essentially have your own ‘wing’ with a team of people looking after your every whim for the day. Again, I don’t think I would have gotten this treatment even in Harley Street.

I obviously looked up my surgeon before I went —she seems literally to be the most qualified in her field in all of Central/Eastern Europe.

Aftercare is excellent. I have a WhatsApp number that I can contact them with whatever daft question I might have (eg. ‘It’s been six weeks since the transplant, can I go swimming?) and they respond within a few hours.

As I said above, I’ll write a full review recounting my full (pleasant) experience with Hair Palace when I have the time, but for the moment I thought it would be useful to give a review from someone who went there and has had good results from the surgery.

From start to finish I cannot rate the team at Hair Palace highly enough.
From the initial contact, consultation and my endless questions they explained everything perfectly.
I attended the clinic this week and had 4000 follicles transplanted from the back to the front due to receding hair line.
I have to say everything about this company is amazing, they pick you up from the airport, take you to the accommodation ( I used their apartment which is amazing) explain everything, give clear details in emails about when to come to the clinic, step you through every part of the process and also give you a nice menu to choose lunch, I am vegetarian and the goat cheese burger was great.
Then after all of this amazing service they take you back to the airport when you need to be there.
The procedure itself was incredible and I felt safe and listened too the entire time, I can now see how my hair line will look like when it grows in some time and I cannot be happier.
They even called me to let me know I left my book there :)

Firstly, Janos, the coordinator, was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout the whole process. They provided detailed information about the procedure, answered all of my questions, and helped me to arrange everything from airport transfers, to accommodation and blood test. I felt well-informed and supported throughout the whole experience.
On the day of the surgery, the team at Hairpalace were amazing. They were professional, friendly, and made me feel comfortable and at ease. Dr Ljuba Zsolnai and her team in particular were outstanding. Dr Ljuba Zsolnai is a true expert in her field, and she took the time to explain every step of the process to me. She was patient, kind, and clearly passionate about her work. Her team were also excellent - they were skilled and efficient, and they made the whole process as smooth as possible.
The accommodation provided by Hairpalace was also great. My family stayed in a comfortable and clean hotel just 5 minutes walk from the clinic, which made it easy to get to and from the appointments. The airport transfer was also smooth and hassle-free, which was a great relief after getting into a new city.
I am writing this review on the 7th post operative day. I am very happy with the result so far. Overall, I would highly recommend HairPalace to anyone looking for a hair transplant clinic in Budapest. The coordinator, airport transfer, accommodation, and surgery day were all excellent, and Dr Ljuba Zsolnai and her team were truly outstanding. I would definitely go back to HairPalace if I ever needed any further treatments.

A super team of professionals from start to finish. It is a little unnerving going to a country you have not visited for the first time in your life for an intervention you have never experienced. But they look after every detail throughout and make you feel completely at ease. I would give Hair Palace 11/10 if that were possible.

I made the trip with my wife to Budapest this Jan (23) and had over 5000 hair grafts implanted at the HairPalace Clinic. I have been very impressed throughout my experience, at every stage I was completely informed what to expect and all my questions were answered when doubt or anxiety crept in. I was initially very happy with the staff and transfers I cannot fault how friendly the staff were the food was good the apartment was lovely.

I had my first transplant with the hair palace. Iv just flown back from dr acars cosmedica clinic in turkey for my second procedure . After seeing a friends results. the difference in the aftercare package is day and night.

My results from hair palace weren’t as good as expected but still fairly although it definitely wasn’t the 80% they guaranteed and they went abit quiet after this and no mention was made from them that they would fix this for free as stated in there guarantee.

I wasn’t too bothered by this as a fair amount came through and I could easily hide how thin it was. but I do feel if they offered the same level of aftercare as cosmedica do my results would have been far better.

In comparison I was sent home from the hair palace with nothing more than a bottle of saline solution and told to spray my head every hour or two. Rinsing my hair with low pressure water and massage the scabs out after a week. They did recommend sleeping with a neck cushion.

My other grumble was upon consultation with dr acar he noticed the hairline I was given on my first procedure was about 10mm too far forward and was actually on the muscles of my forehead. Iv always thought it’s didn’t look very natural but thankfully Iv had it moved back.

I did ok the hairline that the dr drew on although I am not a medical professional and would have expected the dr to know where it can or cannot be situated.

That being said the staff and dr were very friendly and we all make mistakes I’d like to think that maybe the aftercare procedure is better now than it was. To anybody booking I’d check this before going further. Especially as both the clinics were virtually the same price.

I did actually leave a 5star review although I cannot seem to find it now. I was happy with the experience albeit I didn’t know about the incorrect hair line position at the time. I don’t want to completely bash the clinic as Iv read the reviews and most are positive just thought I’d share my experience. After experiencing a different clinic.

Just a week ago, I underwent a hair transplant at Hair Palace, and this time around I was doing it for the second time.

As a result, after having an excellent experience the previous time, I was expecting that at least everything would work fine this time around. To be honest, I think it was even better than I imagined it would be.

Again everything was well organized, transfers were quick, and all worked according to plan. The apartment in which I stayed for three days was quite new and spacious and also provided me with the privacy that I needed during my stay.

The doctor made an effort to explain everything to me before surgery. She answered all my questions and even agreed to change the distribution of grafts in the recipient area before the procedure took place.

The operation took less time since there were fewer grafts to be extracted than before. Thus, I was able to get to my apartment earlier and relax, which was convenient for me. Again as the first time, the operation had no complications and It was a complete success from beginning to end. The operation was almost painless and proceeded along on a professional level with the skilled hands of Doctor Erika Gucsi and her assistants.

My sincere thanks go out to both Doctor Erika Gucsi and Bibor, my interpreter. They both did a fantastic job.

As a fact that I have personally undergone two hair transplants through the Hair Palace, I can say with confidence that I would recommend Hair Palace to anyone considering getting a hair transplant.

I had an excellent experience with Hair Palace. Everything was very well organised from the first consultation to the train station pickups, accomodation, blood test and throughout the day of the procedure.

The main thing that made this experience outstanding though was the friendliness and kindness of everyone involved. It's naturally a slightly scary step to take and nerves are to be expected, but all staff were great in putting me at ease and explaining everything clearly, and gave great confidence in their abilities and experience.

1 day post procedure and I don't feel any residual pain or discomfort. It will take a long time to see the final results, but at this point I am feeling confident that it was successful - I'll report back with the progress after 6-12 months.

I was completely satisfied. Staff was great, doctor and assisters were nice. Surgery went flawlessly and I did not feel anything. Food was also ok.

Everything was well organized from the beginning. Starting by the first contact by email, through the first telephone consultation via Whatsapp to accommodation and catering on site. If anything was unclear, the customer service responded very quickly and competently.
Also on the day of the surgery everything. Thanks to the interpreters, there had were no communication problems and the very friendly and competent team took care of you on any site.

Everything worked out fine. I was picked up at the airport and taken to the flat. The Clinic is 15 minutes walk away from it. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The staff were all extremely accommodating and welcoming. The procedure is extremely straight forward and they provide you with all the tools you need to understand the post-operative recovery procedure and how to treat the affected area.
