Too dry, when cutting off a piece, the piece broke apart into two or three parts. My expectations were that it would be moist like my aunt made every Christmas.

It was horrible. Fell apart when I tried to slice it and the taste was just awful. Completely inedible.

excellent every time and is not the first one
NEVER RECEIVED! Even though my billing and shipping address were the same a number was transposed and the fruitcake bought for my husband never arrived b Dec 21. Rude customer service said because zip code had an error it was not their fault and I could buy another one at 1/2 price but that was it. The one to my aunt arrived safely as did previous years. But the 2lb fruitcake sent to my own home did not and I will NEVER ORDER FROM HALE GROVES again.
