I did not taste them. I had them sent to my family in Maine and they all really enjoyed the quality and freshness each month.

This year I decided to send my 3 families of grandchildren oranges instead of sweets for Valentine Day. They reported that the oranges arrived on time, in perfect condition and were the best oranges they ever ate. Their only complaint was I should have sent a larger box. For me, it was less expensive than sending cookies or chocolate as I was able to snatch a free ship deal.
Simply the best!!! They were enjoyed immensely.
UPDATED 3-1-2018: After talking with their customer support about my order, they issued a full refund without any hassle. While I stand by my initial review's assessment of the quality of this particular batch, anytime something perishable is shipped over a distance things can happen. The test is how a company handles the mishaps, and in this case they came through. After this experience with customer service, I'll probably give them another shot. Updated to 4 stars. Although well packed and shipped timely, these oranges were on balance not sweet and lacked any sort of flavor. At a delivered cost of very nearly $2 *PER ORANGE*, I am incredibly disappointed. These turned out to be basically the same as the oranges i would expect to get in a bag of $4 for 3lbs at a discount grocery store. I bought 4 cases to give as a gift and not having tasted them in advance I am sort embarrassed to have given them. I doubt I'll be back any time soon.

Not good. Extremely sour with dark middles and dried out areas in some.
I ordered these for my brother for Christmas. He loved them and they arrived in good condition.
These have always been the best until this year! The quality wasn't there. I had about 5 that I couldn't eat at all. They were so DRY!!!! Not your usual quality at all. I was going to place another when I placed the original one and I'm so very thankful I didn't!!!!!
Sent this order to a homeless shelter. I felt they needed it as much or more than I did. The oranges are the best !
The best you can buy in January worth the wait!
This was sent to a friend who says she likes them. I wouldn't ever waste my money again on ordering oranges. They were bad in 16 and haven't improved in January of this year. Their grapefruit is wonderful, but I have ordered my last oranges from them unless I would get honeybells. I bought better oranges here at BJ's Wholesale Club.
Okay, third try: MiniBell Supreme were ordered and never arrived. What did arrive was an order of juice oranges. Four weeks after making the order! End of story. No more Hale Groves for us.
