Lovely scents

Tonka Tabac - discovered in a Brighton boutique many years back this beautiful earthy scent has become the only scent for me. From the very first wear this scent has always garnered glowing compliment. Customer service is always courteous, personable and efficient. A small company with a big heart.

I absolutely adore this brand! Their scents are gorgeous and perfumes really lasts throughout the day!

I’m a huge fan of the Tonka Tabak perfume but sadly am struggling to get hold of more.

I’ve tried emailing directly but the email always bounces and I don’t use social media. If there’s another way of contacting them, I’d love to know as I’m desperate to replenish my stock of their lovely perfume!

Love the church incense smell! Really smells of Christmas memories.

Really sad there are no scented candles anymore… I felt they really were superior to other scented candles, have a wonderful room smell :-) if I could vote for bringing them back I would.

We visited a perfume making workshop at Hal of Hove after having sampled some of their fragrances at North Lane Bazar, Brighton, and being highly impressed by these.
The workshop was hosted by company owner, Dinah, at her home and was a truly memorable experience. Dinah guided us through perfume history, composition and philosophy, before allowing us to dive in, sniff, compose, blend and adjust our own fragrances.
We had such a fun time and Dinah really was the perfect host: helpful, funny and knowledgeable, but also relaxed in letting us explore for ourselves, make mistakes and learn.
At £45 a head, the workshop represents phenomenal value for 2 hours of tuition and expert guidance, as well as a 50ml fragrance of your own creation to take home. The ingredients used are clearly top quality, as one or two sprays is all that's needed for the perfume to last all day.
We will certainly be going back and would recommend the experience to anyone, whether they be fragrance experts or just interested in an unusual day out with friends or family.

We had the best time making perfumes with Dinah. The fragrances turned out amazing, and it was super interesting learning how it all worked. We would definitely do it again.

Genuinely some of the best quality and service for a product I have received in a long time! Hal of Hove provide some amazing and unique scents, I’d recommend ‘Altar’ but they all are so different and strange (in the best possible way!) that I’m sure there’s one for everyone. They sent the item quickly and it even arrived with some extra goodies and a hand written card! I would absolutely recommend purchasing from them - 10/10!

Lovely weighty brush, perfect for what I wanted it for, which is ink drawing/painting. Was pleasantly surprised that it was bigger than I'd imagined - which was a very good surprise!
