SCAM SCAM SCAM DO NOT TOUCH…

First time buy on social media You tube. Ordered on 16 February and it was taken out of my account very quickly tried to cancel but said it had been shipped. It came out of Yiwi China apparently?! Lots of tracking information including 01:13pm ! arriving into GBLONB London distribution Centre only when I looked this up it is actually London Posten AB is GBLONS! Tracking stopped 24 February sent two emails the last one came back could not deliver etc.. I had by this time contacted my bank who took relevant details tracking number etc so Visa could follow through. I got my refund. It was £34.90 but when my bank blocked this company it was a different name to its trading name and also there was a subscription with this. Changed card details hoping all is now safe. Gail

Scam artists

I’m not sure why I’m even bothering to write this as they clearly do not care about receiving awful reviews.
Their website no longer exists so they are probably trading under a different name.
For what it is worth I’ll post this anyway. But this company is definitely a scam.
My only consolation is that they will get their just desserts when they face God on judgement day!

I believe this is a scam

I believe this is a scam. I did receive the item and was charged what I was quoted for the tool and shipping - @£33. BUT I then checked out the company, including Trust Pilot reviews and became suspicious. I checked on my banking app and my card details had been stored by the company for repeat payments. Contacted Barclays who advised they could not change a repeat payment until it had been requested without my authorisation, then they would be able to stop it from their end. I cannot cancel on the app and the only way is to contact the company. I did not try having read the reviews, and they do not appear to have tried to take a repeat. However, the only way to be sure my card details were safe was to report the card stolen, and wait 5 wd's for a new card.

The item did come and appears fit for purpose but I won't know until I'm upside down in a car full of water! The scam appears to be financial - they charge over the odds for the tool, then possibly wait until they can charge the card again. I do not have proof of this; it's just my opinion but I would not buy this item from the website. It's cheaper on Amazon!

If this isn’t a SCAM then I don’t know what is

I ordered one of these window breakers on 21/12/23 and they charged me for five plus five extended warranties which I did not order. I have paid £136.95 for something advertised for £24.00 I have traded emails with them but they just talk nonsense in response. Sadly, for the first time, I realise I have been scammed.
Do NOT get involved with these cowboys under any circumstances.

Don’t buy I emailed five times to try and cancel order on the link they give on the email. Overpriced, they put through the warranty and take payment before you even realise. Banks don’t help either. Don’t buy! First time I’ve been scammed defo be more careful and if il ever buy anything on internet again, probably not.

RUN A MILE

DODGY AS HECK - DO NOT BUY - DO NOT USE A CREDIT CARD - OVERPRICED AND SCAMMY
I considered getting this product in having electrically operated doors and windows on the car. Wanted to see how much shipping was so started the checkout procedure - BOSH - they put it all through and added an extended warranty cost and postage and making it a recurring payment authorisation on PayPal without telling me the total cost first or gaining my final approval for the sale.

I made an impulse purchase

I made an impulse purchase. Turned out to be more expensive than what I thought I was ordering. Fortunately I paid using PayPal. Called the phone number posted on PayPal to request a refund. The Commerce Core UAB customer service rep was very polite and helpful. Refund posted back to PayPal before we ended the call.

SCAM

They selling "their" product for 30 £ - check AliExpress with search words "car window breaker" - and you'll see that it cost 5£ (probably less if you'll spent more time searching).
This is a SCAM which I spotted on YouTube (no surprise here).

Shady company selling a cheap product…

Shady company selling a cheap product at a rip off price. I'd be shocked if you even receive it, less shocked if your card is cloned.

Uses an unlisted YT video to run the ad. These are fly by night accounts which YT don't vet and don't act upon user reports which call out these scams. If anyone has fell for the scam ( I really hope not) then please bear in mind the tactics used by these "people" - AI voice, limited time offer, developed by some super engineer that the NWO tried to supress etc. All follow the same format, and all are scams.

Bought two of these Direct from…

Bought two of these Direct from Hammerdex, they don't come with Hammerdex logo, so they are just generic. I was charged £63.56 for two which included extended warranty for £9.72 which I did not know about until after the order was complete. Order placed 14th Dec, arrived 22nd Dec. They do work and come with a piece of glass for testing. However, you can save yourself a fortune and get them for less than £10 each from Amazon UK with next day delivery and in various colours. I should have googled this better, live and learn !! So it's really a bit of a rip off.

Fake ads

This company are running ads on YouTube with a fake back story about family members dying in cars! The footage used is stock footage and the people are totally factitious! They are spreading disinformation to sell a Chinese knock off at an inflated price. Apparently they are worth £54.30, but heavily discounted yet can buy the same product on AliExpress for less than £5.

The so called unique Hammerdex car safety tool

The so called Hammerdex car safety tool is anything but. This is a mass produced car window breaker and seat belt cutter.

Please DO NOT buy from Hammerdex. Whoever this company really is are grossly over inflating the price of this unit, it's so much cheaper elsewhere online under differing names, but is the very same item for about £7 - £10.00 at the most and are made in China.

The unit comes in a plain white thin cardboard box. Printed on it are the words 'SHARP TOOL SAFETY HAMMER' with nothing on the box, or inside mentioning with the Hammerdex company logo.

Inside the box there is It's a generic unit (again no logo on it). with a circular 3-4mm piece of glass, underneath it, along with a business type card.

The circular glass is there so you can test your unit, to show it works. The glass did shatter with a little bit of pressure applied to it with the unit. But this is a pointless test as the glass provided in the box is tempered glass and not car window glass which is laminated glass.

Back with the business card; it has no reference to 'Hammerdex, instead it has printed on it 'help at our vip support.com' so not even 'Hammerdex' support.

On the Hammerdex website it shows all sorts of qualifying/validation type information to give the impression of a unique product tested, and with top customer feedback.

On the customer feedback; it's set up to look like they've been put on Trustpilot' but it's not Trustpilot. You can't click a hyperlink or anything to go to the review source. There is no feedback from any other country displayed, only the UK (for a product advertised worldwide). Clicking on each of the feedback profiles promoted on the website does nothing, all are dead links. A search of the image(s) supposedly from the people providing feedback returns all sorts of stock images photos of people, some used for multiple products from glasses to medication.

Avoid Hammerdex and pay a fraction of the price for the same unit elsewhere online.
