Never used hay hamper before and will probably never use again communication is lacking even when you have to chase them about dispatch of hampers purchase 4 no emails the day before as t&c say the day after instead,as these were presents for friends it's great to give people a bit of notice haven't had any feedback on quality yet but let's hope it's better than communication and delivery.

Ordered a Christmas hamper as a Christmas present and chose the delivery option of before Christmas (23rd December latest). Rang on the 23rd to find out where the hamper was and was advised that it still hadn’t despatched and they were hopeful it would be picked that day and delivered next day. No confirmation of dispatch received so I have had to go out and buy an alternative present and cancel my order. Understand COVID is having an impact but having had no communication from Hay Hampers means a one star rating is all they deserve. All it would have taken is an email keeping me updated :(

HALF of the hamper has been substituted, the hamper was "Christmas Delights" and what was missing from this - Christmas Pudding, Mince Pies, Cracker of Fudge, Hazlenut dragee, Festive Flapjack, Mince Pies, Honeycomb. The replacement items do not match at all or come close to these missing items, eg pepper mint creams, 1 x candy cane, chocolate coins, biscotti biscuits. I would NOT have ordered if I knew so many items were not going to be fulfilled. The website STILL shows this being in stock. Waste of money.......! Very disappointed and do not recommend.

Ordered a Hamper to be delivered on the 16 December as our Christmas party is on the 17th. Chose Hay Hampers as they say you choose the delivery date.

The order confirmation even says:
Delivery date: 2021-12-16

What happens today, the 16th December, IT GETS DISPATCHED!! At 16:00 in the afternoon!

Their small print even says:
You will receive an email confirmation of shipping the day before delivery. So it definitely is not getting delivered on the day that I chose.

I spent nearly an hour online selecting the ideal Christmas hamper, wrote the gift card, completed all the delivery details, filled in the payment section, then finally choosing the delivery date. Nothing available until 29th December!

What a waste of time.

I ordered ten hampers of various sizes to go to places all over GB. This was for family members who were unable to attend a family wedding (due to Covid rules) to enjoy. The hamper sizes were from three people size to eight people size. They could enjoy the hampers while watching a live stream of the wedding.
All ten hampers arrived on time and all the recipients were impressed with the contents.
It was very important to us that Hay Hampers did not get this wrong and they did a very good job. Everybody enjoyed the event.
I would definitely use them again.

I ordered the Cheese Perfection Triple Selection as a gift for my cheese loving cousin's 80th birthday. I ordered well in advance of the date and was kept up to date on progress at every stage of the order. It arrived on his birthday as requested and he was absolutely delighted. He lives on his own so the size of the items in the hamper are just right. I had to speak to their customer services to check something something I was not sure of and they were brilliant!
The phone was answered quickly and the lady I spoke to was efficient, helpful and totally charming!
I would totally recommend Hay Hampers to anyone and will be using them again myself, I have no doubt.

I ordered a birthday hamper as a present - one of the wine, cheese and chocolate cake options.

The customer service and response after ordering was great - lots of communication and confirmation of the order going out and the ability to track delivery.

The gift arrived on time and my friend was totally blow away with it. She said it was presented in a lovely way, that the cake was delicious and was very impressed!

Having been sent this as a Mother’s Day gift from one of my sons I am sorry to say it was a waste of his hard earned cash.
Apart from the packet of tea, jar of jam and the shortbread biscuits which were ok. The sponge cake had a nasty aftertaste, synthetic and unpleasant. The scone had a label which I hadn’t noticed because it was on the bottom of the scone saying this had previously been frozen and should be used on the day it arrived.

I have sent a number of Hay Hampers to family and they are always received in perfect condition, are of a high quality and recipients are always delighted!
I recently created a slight problem with an error in the recipients address.
Emma at Hay Hampers was extremely kind and helpful and everything got sorted out so promptly - service & delivery was excellent and the hamper was once again amazing!

received a very small gift of fudge within the best by date. It is like a rock, If I tried to bite it I would break my teeth. Can`t understand this>>>>fudge is usually quite soft!! Disappointed, will throw it away.

I was very impressed with the service. With so many on line retailers it feels a risk to try something new as you hear horror stories. 
Every step from ordering to delivery, Hays Hampers offer exceptional service. Not being able to visit my mum and dad at the moment is hard but they were so delighted with the hamper and it was a real treat for them. The packaging was perfect.

Ordered a cheese hamper for a birthday two days before and it all arrived on time! I even got a text message to say when it would arrive (to the hour). The birthday girl absolutely loved the hamper! Even when I had a query on the order I had Zoe respond really quickly and very friendly. Really pleased with the whole service! Thank you!!

I purchased a Christmas Ruby hamper for my friend for Christmas. As promised the hamper was delivered the day before Christmas eve to my friends delight. She was over the moon with it. Her comments "The box, the packing and the contents are beautiful. From a lady, with very high standards, that is some accolade. Thank you hay hampers.

Letter to Hay Hampers

I would just like to air my views in respect to how your company dealt with its inability to honour orders from our website. We paid for all your products to be added to our website and as Christmas approached you were unable to fulfil any of our orders, this resulted in us having to refund over 168 orders. Not only have we suffered financially through this , it has the potential to damage our business as we have had to deal with disgruntled customers who were hoping to receive their orders, and will probably never use our company again to purchase goods. We had a competition advertised on Radio Caroline with one of your hampers as the prize, this was also unable to be fulfilled, again further embarrassment to us. This is totally unacceptable as your company appears to show a complete lack of care regarding this. We were promised a return phone call but to date no response. This is no way to conduct business.

I wanted to take the time to thank hay hampers as they delivered parcels of lovely food to my friends. All this during problems with the pandemic and Brexit shortages. I think they have all been amazing because it can't have been easy. 5 stars to all the staff and huge thanks.

This was an unexpected lovely gift from a friend really well packaged and all the goodies Inside had a long date which was a bonus

100% recommend. Received as a gift and loved it. The products were good and the cheese was one of the best Iv ever had!! Will definitely consider sending one as a gift.
