I recently sold my jaguar XK 140 with H&H auction house in Buxton. The whole experience and process was very straightforward from start to finish. This was made an even better sale thanks to all of the hard work from Lucas who was fantastic throughout the whole process.

I purchased a BMW 2002 through an internet commission bid. The entire experience, response and support by the H and H team was excellent. Oliver was overseeing the sale of the car and responded to my queries very promptly. His appraisal of the car was very honest. He made himself available to provide a video walk round of the vehicle of the day of the auction as I couldn't attend in person. When I had a last minute change to my bid, he accommodated that with much patience and understanding. I wasn't sure if I'd won the bid but was pleasantly surprised when I received a call from Mark to inform me of the outcome. He was very patient in explaining the process and extremely flexible in making arrangements for methods of payment and collection of the vehicle. Mark had gone beyond what he or H and H were obligated as per T's&C's of the bidding process, just to help me fit the car collection around my work schedule. I drove the car home safely and throughly enjoyed the beautiful scenery and country roads, almost perfect for classic car driving. I can't thank them and the rest of the H and H team enough for their honest and professional approach. The car is almost my dream car having owned an automatic a few years ago which I'd sold, and partly regretted. I can't recommend H and H enough for their excellent service. I recently sold a car through H&H, and I am 100% happy with the process from start to finish. After an initial chat with Angus Fender at a previous auction, we agreed a date for a home visit. Angus appraised the car, he took a fresh set of highly professional photographs, and we agreed the way forward. I attended the auction, which went completely as planned. I particularly liked the feel of the venue, and the short video of the car before bidding started was a nice touch. After the sale, the funds were received within 10 working days as promised. I would like to praise Angus for his professional and friendly approach throughout the process, as well as thanking the whole team. I would definitely use H&H when selling again.

I would like to personally thank Angus Fender from H&H for looking after me so well from the outset during the sale of my late father's vehicle.

Besides not having been through an auction process before, this sale carried a particularly sensitive element to it, having been tasked by my father to oversee the disposal of his assets upon his passing. Angus understood this throughout and provided a reassuring, professional outlook during every step, including taking the time to come and meet me at home in the lead-up to the auction. Whilst he insisted he was only doing his job, it was still a thoughtful gesture that meant a lot, so thank you Angus.

I was frequently kept up to date and the entire process was as smooth as I could have hoped for, including the collection of the vehicle, transport to the auction site and storage in lieu of the auction.

The vehicle itself met the valuation on auction day, helped no doubt by the tasteful marketing to present it in the best possible way and ensure it carried appeal for as many as possible when it came to sale.

This company is clearly a professional, experienced one which understands the importance of taking time to get to know their clients and make them feel valued. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again if and when the need should arise.

Oliver showed outstanding understanding and professionalism in dealing with our sale. As a first time user of their service we were soon convinced of his knowledge of classics and what long term ownership creates. All our questions were answered and the personal touch is one of his best skills. Always contactable and responsive.

Ian was knowledgeable, compassionate when dealing with my Dad's estate and efficient with organising the vehicles for auction. He stayed in regular communication throughout the process and ensured that transportation was organised. We attended the auction, which was great fun and a fitting way to say good bye to Dad's collection.

I made contact with H&H to sell two motorcycles. I was quite early for the next auction but that worked in my favour as I benefitted from a discounted rate. Ian was my sales specialist and he couldn't have been more helpful and attentive. He knows the market, we set realistic expectations on price, his listing write up was fantastic, he helped arrange transport for the bikes to auction and kept in contact with me on auction day where I had success in selling both bikes. I would definitely use H&H in the future.

I was approached by Angus Fender who made no pretence about being other than a newly joined member of the H and H team and asked to consider submitting a car to auction.He very quickly arranged for two to be included and the process in doing so was extremely easy. He was a good communicator and I was very pleased with his oversight of my needs.

After much trepidation I decided to sell my old Ducatis and a couple of Suzukis via H&H in their July sale at the National Motorcycle Museum, I knew that the market was in a parlous state but Ian and the rest of the staff at H&H returned me a good price for my collection, they helped me at every stage, great job 100%

It was taking a while to sell my 21 year-old Aston DB9 privately. I knew it was a great car - on its own terms, and by comparison to similar models from the same period - but there is only so much visibility you can get from an Autotrader ad. Then out of the blue Baljit from HandH called, said he thought my car was a little gem (colour-trim combination, low mileage, full service history, etc.) and there was a good chance he could sell it at their upcoming auction or immediately after.

Knowing nothing about auctions, and car salesmen have a good line in snappy patter, I was initially a bit cautious, but I thought 'Well, it's a new experience and they're the top auctioneer for performance cars, so why not give it a try?'

Baljit was good to his word, and his gut instinct proved correct - the car sold a few days after auction through their network of buyers. I got a decent price - more than I would have made from selling back to my dealer - then the car was on a trailer 36 hrs later, and I'm happy to know it's in good hands with someone who appreciates (and owns multiple) classy cars.

Overall, an enlightening and satisfying experience.
