From start to finish, my experience with Nala has been nothing short of exceptional. I was looking for a very specific and uncommon scale - a 20-note mutant - and not many handpan makers are able or willing to take on such a custom challenge. But Nala welcomed the idea with enthusiasm, professionalism, and deep musical understanding.
What stood out from the beginning was the excellent communication. I was kept informed at every stage of the process - from confirming the details of my custom scale to regular updates and pictures during the build. That kind of transparency and care made me feel fully involved and confident in the journey.
Although the building process took a bit longer than I initially hoped, I never once doubted that it was time well invested. It was clear this delay was not due to oversight, but rather a reflection of the passion, precision, and commitment Nala pours into crafting their instruments.
And when the handpan finally arrived - wow. It completely exceeded all my expectations. The sound is rich, balanced, and full of soul. The craftsmanship is impeccable, with a beautiful coating and finish that shows real attention to detail. Every note sings, and the entire instrument feels alive in my hands.
I am deeply grateful to the person who introduced me to Nala. Choosing them as my handpan maker was one of the best decisions I have made, and I find myself falling in love with this instrument more and more every day. Every session is a joy, and it feels like I am uncovering new layers of its voice with each note I play.
