Absolutely the worst

Absolutely the worst. Troubleshooting - don’t waste your time. You will need to do a lot of research but you will never get help from these guys. And eventually they monitor your child’s age so towards the 6 months end they disable all app features that used to be in free and you can’t even wean him off. They make you pay another moth fee to do so. That’s after you paid for the premium subscription. This is the kind of treatment you get with the crib. I am so angry that I will never ever say a nice word about this company.

AVOID

We rented the Snoo bassinet and had a terrible experience when it stopped rocking two months in. We called about a dozen times, couldn’t get to anyone after leaving many voicemails explaining our situation. We finally wrote an email stating we’d like to return it and finally someone got back to us and replaced it. We mailed back the old one in the box they provided. When it was time to return the snoo after our baby outgrew it, we realized the top of the box got damaged in our garage. We reached out to purchase a new return box, $50. They were “sold out” conveniently for them. We were nearing the next month renewal and our card would’ve been charged. I spent hours calling and trying to speak to someone so that they would not charge us just because they were sold out of boxes and we couldn’t return ours. I asked them to pause our payment, they said they could not. Then I told them I will be reporting the charge, if they charged us, to my credit card company. After that, they miraculously had a box in stock and mailed it to us. I had to pay over $30 for them to ship me the new box, plus the $50 cost for the box.

On top of everything that had already happened, when they received our snoo, they kept our deposit citing some debris in the snoo - WTH? How could debris be in the snoo where our baby slept? It must’ve gotten in there during the shipping and unboxing process because it looks like a tiny piece of cardboard in the picture they sent us. This company is simply appalling. Taking advantage of a challenging time for parents, offering a pricey product with absolutely no customer service or support provided when things go wrong. Would not recommend at all. Your baby will be fine without it.

Terrible service, defective product, time wasters. Dont waste your money on this

Dont buy the snoo bear or get involved with Happiest baby. Happiest Baby customer service is desperate. Our bear was defective and the crying does not trigger the noise. Loads of other reviews and discussions on reddit with many others experiencing the same issue. Anyway, we contacted their support and explained. They asked for video evidence. We reverted and provided the same. Then they ask for another video trying something else. Again, we record the new request and provided. This went on and on for months, providing various videos as per their requests. After MONTHs the warranty expires and then they say they wont do anything because of that. Desperate service. Most would agree it is just a scam yo be honest. Terrible service, defective product, time wasters. Dont waste your money on this

Bought two £1200 bassinets for twins…

Bought two £1200 bassinets for twins only to have to pay a monthly subscription suddenly to use it. Company threw this curve ball to all existing Snoo users, my twins are 2 months and now I’m being charged through the nose to use the bassinets I bought them. Outrageous cash grab and taking advantage of tired parents. For what it’s worth, babies sleep just as well sharing the Next2Me crib in the end too.

Put key features of their expensive…

Put key features of their expensive bassinet behind a subscription after purchase.

I purchased my bassinet second hand expecting to get access to all the advertised features.

I then spent hundreds of pounds with snoo purchasing accessories and other items from their online store.

If I had known about the incoming paywall subscription I would have taken my business elsewhere and neither purchased the bassinet nor the many items from their online store. Short sighted anti customer, anti parent move by happiest baby.

Bait and switch scam

I am extremely disappointed with the SNOO smart bassinet from Happiest Baby. When I purchased it, there was no indication that a subscription would be required to unlock all its features. This blatant money grab feels unethical and greedy, and it seems like a bait-and-switch tactic. I saved up to be able to purchase a preowned SNOO, and now the subscription is an added expense I cannot afford. It feels like I am being punished for buying a preowned bassinet for my baby because that’s what I could afford. If Happiest Baby wants to implement a subscription service, then it should only be for new buyers who are fully aware of the terms. For example, it’s like asking buyers of preowned cars to pay for a subscription to drive their car months after they paid for it. it does not make sense. Happiest Baby sold the SNOO promising all of the features as standard on the mobile app but has now withdrawn some critical features to squeeze more money out of their customers. This is completely unfair. If I had known that a subscription would be implemented, I would never have invested in such an expensive product. This is not only frustrating but also feels like a deceptive and exploitative business practice. I strongly advise potential buyers to beware of this hidden cost.

Scam

Scam. Charge a fortune for the bassinet then introduce a £240 a year fee to continue to use it.

Subscription app required

Just bought a second hand snoo, and then get an email that most of the useful features of the (essential) app are about to be paywalled. Shameless cash grab. Would not have bought ours if we had known this.

Appalling customer service that is not…

Appalling customer service that is not even reachable..

Avoid this company despite their overhyped product, social media ads and promotions. I bought the Snoo bed which didn’t work for my baby and have been trying to arrange a return for over a week now. They gave me a pick up date and I ended up wasting all that day at home waiting for collection. Of course no one showed up and when I contacted again, they are suggesting the earliest day would be now 9 April. Bear in mind they don’t share any specifics (even the carrier name!).

I cannot believe how terribly they treat their customers. Their customer service line is never picked up either! Avoid at all costs! My next step will be to complain to my bank account if they don’t properly respond..

I am outraged by my recent experience…

I am outraged by my recent experience with the Snoo. I made the mistake of ordering this overhyped product, only to cancel it within 10 minutes due to a change of plans. What happened next was nothing short of daylight robbery. The company slapped me with an absurd $199 cancellation fee! This is extortion, especially given the ridiculously short time frame between my order and cancellation.

Their so-called 'innovative' product is overshadowed by their greed and total lack of customer empathy. It’s clear that this company cares more about lining their pockets than understanding the chaotic life of new parents. Not only is this cancellation fee hidden and unjustifiable, but it also reflects the company’s disregard for customer satisfaction.

Very disappointed- terrible sizing on…

Very disappointed- terrible sizing on swaddles. I bought the Large swaddle which on the website said 8-12kg (which would be around 7- 18 months. Perfect for my 8 month old with room to grow I thought. It came and said 4-6 months and the swaddle itself looked tiny - I’d say more suitable for 0-3 months. I paid almost £8 for delivery and would have to pay £5.50 to return the item, to only have to pay £8 on Delivery again to order the larger size. Dreadful service and dreadful sizing.

Faulty product with known networking issues

After reading all the amazing reviews about the SNOO online, we thought it would be a worthwhile investment if it meant better sleep for everyone. We purchased a SNOO secondhand as the cost for a new one was out of our budget. While it had been used by another couple for 6 months, it was in great condition and working well in their apartment. When we assembled it at our home, we couldn’t connect to the SNOO’s network which is the first step to setting up the app for its full functionality. After several attempts to get help from SNOO’s customer service we are incredibly disappointed. They have completely dismissed any responsibility and refuse to help us since it’s no longer under warranty. For such an expensive product, it’s very disheartening that they don’t stand by their their technology. They know there are networking issues and therefore treat the product as disposable versus addressing the underlying issue. We are now stuck with very expensive dumb crib. Buyer beware!

Awful return policy

I ordered two swaddle and decided to send it back ( still unopened) .
It’s unbelievable
After 7 days I’m still waiting for them to organise a collection. Awful customer service plus they are going to charge me for the collection.
I even offered to send back to them but they can’t accept that .???!!

Don’t be tempted by the SNOO free trial! Terrible customer service will leave you unable to access a refund.

I purchased the Snoo bassinet and swaddles. My baby did not like them despite a few weeks of trying, so I asked to return them (on the basis of the 30 day risk free trial period that the company offers). It has been three weeks since I requested a return and Snoo has kept me waiting at home for three full days for collections that never arrive. I have never been so badly treated by any company, their customer service is appalling. If you are considering trying their products on the basis of their free trial period DON’T! It will be the most painful process that you have ever been through trying to get your money back.

I also wrote a negative review on their own platform which they emailed me to inform me had been removed after moderation, on the basis that it related to customer service and it “directs business away”. You can’t therefore believe the reviews of the products on their website as they openly admit to removing negative feedback. They also did not provide me with workable means to edit my negative review so it met their guidelines, as the link to do this in their email was broken.
