Unprepared and unprofessional

An accident led to the road being shut down and the bus not being able to pick us up, which fair enough that wasn’t the company’s fault.

What was their fault was how they handled it, they left us for 45 minutes with no information on what was happening, then messaged us with just a ‘we’ll update you later’ - we waited another 15 minutes, they’ll phoned one person in the queue saying they’re going to book 9 seater taxis to come and collect us, before phoning again and saying they’re can’t get the taxis and asking if we can make our own way there? Well, no. That’s why we booked a shuttle bus. Another 15 minutes, oh they are sending taxis. Nearly 2 hours after we should’ve been on the bus we were in 4 seater taxis. Then the best part! The taxi driver had no idea where the bus would collect us, we were told the bus would be there for the show ending, which great. Which of the car parks was it at though? I assumed we would get a text stating where we should go, no signs up anywhere in the venue, we walked around for miles, the staff had no clue either, and we couldn’t get through to happy bus on the phone. It took us 40 minutes to find the bus and 2 laps of the grounds, we left the concert early as well. All in all, they clearly are very unprepared for unexpected events and how to handle them, which puts me off booking again. The only reason I’m giving two starts is because we did get there, albeit it was very stressful and put a dampener on our night.

No issues at all.
Very happy with the service provided. The bus left on time to Edinburgh for the Summer sessions and was exactly where we expected it at pickup time.
Would use again

Driver left us to prioritise taking happy bus employee

Had to walk miles after oasis to get the bus only to be told me and my friend couldn't get on because there were no seats!!! Pointed out there was 1 empty seat and 1 seat with a happy bus employee on it who was getting a lift back to Dundee. Driver said he had to take him back so get our stuff and get off!! Shocking service would never use again.

East Kilbride

Used Happy Bus to and from East Kilbride twice now, first for Punk All Dayer in Bellahouston Park, then For AC/DC in Murrayfield. Both times easy enough to navigate, the busses after the gigs are all lined up with the destinations in the front window so you just keep walking till you find yours. Drivers and other staff pleasant enough too. We will likely use the service again.

Bit stressful to find the bus

We booked for return trip only Edinburgh- Glasgow after Oasis and didn't realise how far away the bus would be. We couldn't see any busses with Glasgow in the window whole of Corstorphine Road and we couldn't see any of the Happy Bus staff either. After about an hour of walking up and down and starting to get really stressed out, we did eventually find a really nice member of staff (young girl with blonde hair, didn't catch her name) who offered to walk us up to the bus , which was just much further on than we'd have anticipated. At least 1.5 miles, if not 2, from the stadium.
Alas, we finally got on a bus at 11.40pm and got back to Glasgow 1.20am, as it stopped in Cumbernauld first. The bus was clean and comfortable and cool after such a stifling day, so no complaints there but we feel better info on where busses will be would have helped.

Atrocious at best . ASK YOURSELF THIS WHY I'D A COMPANY THAT'S BEEN GOING FOR YEARS ONLY HAVE THE LAST FEW DAYS REVIEWS 🤔 BECAUSE IT GETS SCRUBBED then there back to new page!!! Says it all 💯

Got to oasis and back, no real issue!

Was so worried about happy bus after reading recent reviews about people’s experiences. It was quite chaotic at the bus station and the queue system didn’t make sense to us. Queues were divided and people who were behind us originally got on bus before us. Buses were roasting but I get that isn’t happy bus fault and the weather was warm. People got talking and several people appeared to have paid different amounts? Got into Edinburgh no problem. We were given 45 minutes to get back to the bus after the end of the gig, this could do with being extended especially for larger size events as it was a rush in busy crowds. Buses were parked about 15 minutes from the venue and well signposted. Got to Edinburgh and back without any fault and would use again.

If I could I’d give it 0 stars I would . The bus driver should be sacked vile little man!!! I paid extra for an actual ticket. When I gave the bus driver this he said this is only for one person and I said well take it up with happy bus. His reply was don’t worry I will !! I was frustrated by this so got it on my phone to show him as we were sitting directly by him. Then before bus took off he stood up and said this is your final warning them you’ll be off this bus. And like other review said dropped off miles away and pick up point was different to what the angry little bus driver said. Oh and no food or drink aloud why was the bus driver smoking on the bus on way back now. Happy bus do your self’s a favour get rid of evil little drivers like this

Angry staff

Booked the happy bus for oasis. Not managed well at all. Bus was an hour late. Dropped us off 30 mins from the advertised drop off point. We asked where to get the bus back and were told they had no idea the plans for later. Staff on the way home told us the bus was on one side of the road so took us 40 mins to find the buses were in fact on the other side of the road. Bus proceeded to wait 1.5 hours as it won’t leave till full. A member of happy bus staff got on shouting and swearing that she didn’t care if we got home and to put a complaint in and see what happens. The driver had road rage most of the journey. Slamming breaks and swearing. When someone was sick in the toilet he lost it. Threatening people, screaming he knew people who would be down to sort us out and he wasn’t letting us off until someone paid £150. He proceeded to get the police who laughed and said someone being sick in the toilet was not an offence. This angered him more. He then told us all he hoped we got knocked down by a taxi on our way home.

Wouldn’t use this company again. Staff and drivers are really angry and not helpful in the slightest.

The bus was not at the agreed location

The bus was not at the agreed location, forcing us to walk back and forth for miles. The bus was on a random side street. I told a member of the happy bus team that the company was logistically broken which sent the woman into a rage, went straight into personal attacks calling me stupid, and a d***head. Outrageous behaviour. The experience couldn't have been worse.

From Glasgow to Manchester for oasis

We used happy bus for going to Oasis at heaton park on the 11th July. Got picked up at buchanan bus station, driver was friendly and made sure we got there with plenty of time. Driver made sure we were all entertained as we waited ages for the road to open for us to leave the coach park. Would recommend

My son was going to his 1st big gig and as he didn't know Hampden well, we booked seats on Happy Bus. After a couple of hiccups, Vicky sorted things for Calum and ensured staff, Daniel, at drop off and pick up points double checked he was well and was on correct bus home. I have used Happy Bus before and recommend. Thank you to Vicky.

Dundee to hamden park Glasgow

Dundee to hamden park Glasgow. Buses show up 45 mins late, then staff all shouting about sheets and names etc, no organisation. Every one cursing. Get on bus, pick up perth, head to m9 , not drivers fault but 4 needed picked up, so back all the way to Perth x2, then headed out. It does not take you to Hamden , it's about a mile walk to park from where bus stops, nothing about this on site those for those with walking issues.
Concert, they say 30 mins after concert bus leaves , so we rush walking back up the road, gets on bus, everyone waiting, waiting, people moaning, complaining "let's get going" it's nearly an hour after concert, all buses gone, not ours, people moaning, driver gets on bus, people were saying c'mon let's go, I said out loud from near back of bus come on can we go! Well, this big man then proceeds to point towards me, I'm in my 50's, don't drink, so 100% did not curse or shput badly, nothing for what i then recieved, the driver tells me if I'm not fxcking happy to get the feck off his bus 😮, "i got kids and I'm not leaving kids behind, so if your not fxcking happy then get to Buchannan St and get the fxck off my fecking bus!" Well, people around looked at me as I sat with my friend jaw dropped and they said no need for that! That's not on etc, I said IF it like 17 year old then why didn't he just not say on microphone or say listen guys I want to wait as it's a couple of youngsters, then we would have understood, but nope, just a barage of shouting and swearing to a middle aged sober non rude female no less! I was shocked and felt humiliated and very much intimidated. Then, after 10 mins these two finally get on, one 22+ the other 27+ NOT KIDS!! So why all that drama! The bus has no WiFi, no charging facilities and not very clean. Bathroom sink etc didn't work and no tissue etc the driver got on his way then proceeded to drive like a maniac and floor it every street and corner, soon as he pulled out in Glasow, terrifying, even coming out of Perth it's 20 then 30 then 40 till you hit dual, he was doing about 45 on first part or more to the point the drunk young singers in back started shouting as did my friend to slow down, they didn't want killed, "slow down, our lives are in your hands"! All in all disaster and police report being made for threatening behaviour and his driving as I am sure he might have taken something as the mood, the shouting and swearing and driving just wasn't right. Stay clear.

Extremely disorganised

Bus was late, they were very disorganised and had even overbooked the bus, they had 8 buses come down for only 2 to leave. Dropped us off and told us two street names that we’d have to guess after the concert as to where we’d be picked up. Just save yourself £40. Only good thing was the bus driver stopping off to let everyone go to the bathroom

Driver Road Rage

Driver was late for initial pick up. He had extreme road rage, very harsh and constant breaking (made it a really bumpy ride, constantly using the horn out of concert traffic even though people were unable to move.
