It was kind of cool that they offer a starter pack and send you 3 different sizes to see which fits best. However, they don’t actually block out noise, they only reduce it. I would not recommend these if your hope is to eliminate noise for sleeping or focusing. I also find the stem of the earplug to be difficult to grasp, giving me a mini panic each time I try to remove the earplug.

Poor customer service, God forbid you have any problem or issue. At least I didn’t get support from
Customer services on product or payment issues…

I had these Happy ears earplugs for a month and I like them. It took me a couple of nights to figure out how to wear them but now I’m happy with how they work, block out my snoring partner enough that I finally can get undisturbed nights. I got the discovery pack and found my size. They fit well but sometimes create sort of a vacuum seal in my ear, which I need to undo. Overall, I like they can be washed and are reusable up to 100 times. I’m happy I picked green as sometimes I drop one on the floor in the morning when I take them out and I can find it easily.

Have used my earplugs for years! They were the only ones that fit my ears comfortably enough. I bought the discovery pack to judge size needed, which a lot of reviewers on here don't seem to have done, and are mad they can't return used earplugs even though it says this in there returns policy! I bought them to block out partners snoring and they did the job, no more ear ache. Use them consistently for sleeping and travelling and would buy again

The earplugs absolutely did not fit me and when I inquired about returning them I was ghosted but only after they suggested that they would sell me a pair of their crappy ear plugs in a different size for 50% off so I could waste more money. I would not suggest this product to anyone. I did not find their customer service at all helpful or genuine. It felt more like a scam and not the product was worth pennies not dollars in quality.

I ordered multiple earplugs in the past size medium. Loved them! I just ordered a new pair, but it is not the same size? I feel like they downgraded the quality. I contacted them asking if I could change for a bigger size, since the new pair does not fit. After a week I did not receive a response. I Will not be buying here again unfortunately.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Happy Ears earplugs, and I feel compelled to warn others. A central piece of their earplug detached and became lodged deep in my ear, causing months of pain and requiring medical intervention to remove. The doctor informed me I was lucky to have avoided permanent damage.

When I reported this serious issue to Happy Ears, I expected concern and accountability. Instead, their response was dismissive. They blamed me for using the product "too long," despite never having clearly communicated that the product has a 'shelf life'. They initially refused a refund due to the age of the order, only agreeing after I pushed back. At no point did they acknowledge the severity of the situation or express any intention to improve their product to prevent this from happening to others.

If a product designed for safe use in the ear can break apart and cause injury, that is a serious safety concern. Happy Ears' lack of responsibility is unacceptable. I will never trust their products again and strongly advise others to think twice before purchasing.

I ordered the discovery pack. As a small female the small size seals well and comfortably. Unfortunately, the trucking service in the US delivered the small white packet to my porch during a high wind and snow, so the packet got buried. I emailed Happy Ears and they graciously offered to send me another set.

I haven't used it before. I tried the first couple i saw.
It got into my ear canal and only after taking a tool and trying to pull it out, eventually it got out without going to hospital.

Then I read about the sizes and took the bigger size. It is okay but not lowering the sound as i wish and it's not comfortable if you are sleeping on your side.

If you order one and it doesn't fit you are screwed. I ordered the single package of a small set. Took them out to try and they were too large.

No returns on a single, opened package. So screwed out of $22.

Have used happy ears for two years already, making sure I clean it properly and buying new every 6 months. I can see reviews are mixed but personally I had an amazing experience. I usually buy discovery pack as I can fit both big and medium size and my boyfriend uses the small ones. I am very sensitive to noise and sleep on my ears and find it comfy and great for sleeping, it really helped me when I went to a festival and music was still loud at night and I wanted to sleep.
Never had to use customer service though, so can't comment on that. Delivery is not super fast, but I don't mind, I feel like we are a bit spoiled with Amazon and expect everything to arrive in 24hrs.

I ordered the discovery pack as I wasn’t sure which size to go for but the smallest ones are uncomfortably big in my ears and although I fall asleep they wake me up as I find them too uncomfortable to keep in! So they are a waste of money and I don’t know if I can return them as I have tried them out? Also there were no instructions so maybe I am not using them correctly.

I’ve had an amazing experience with Happyears, and a lot of that is thanks to Sonja. She’s been fantastic at handling my inquiries, always quick to respond and genuinely helpful.
And the earplugs? They are by far the best I’ve ever used! Incredible comfort, great fit, and they block out noise perfectly without sacrificing sound quality. Highly recommend!

UPDATED REVIEW:
After messaging support for a refund for the first time, they told me I can save the postage and time as they refunded it in total and I do not need to send it back.
I suspect it is because someone saw this review and wanted it changed, but I cannot confirm.
So I removed a review part, that does not describe my experience anymore and I changed the review from 1 to 4 stars as the product does not fit/seal properly but my previous concerns about the practices were solved by this.
I hope this is the standard when it comes to returns, if not, you know my experience.

Had some sound reduction but I am not confident due to it being inconsistent for me.

OUTDATED PREVIOUS REVIEW:
Bought a eco-friendly Discovery Pack to figure out my size and if they work. They advertised with 30 day money back guarantee etc.

Now in the process of returning them because they dont fit, I read that I have to pay 6€ ON TOP of an already more expensive (eco friendly) set of earbuds.

I don't know why I already pay a higher price to THEN again have to pay an adidtional fee because I am returning the eco-friendly version.

I’ve had Loop earplugs and I absolutely love these Happy Ears. They are adorable, they fit very well and they block out so much noise. My boyfriend wasn’t so lucky with his fitting as perfect :( I will continue to buy!

If Zero was an option for the quality of the product, that's how many stars I would have selected. The earplugs arrive with no instructions whatsoever, just a message that I'm an "awesome human being" for buying them and a statement that I should keep cleaning them - no instructions on what to use to clean them either.

The large size is still very small and I have very small ears. I put them on in my kitchen with my dishwasher running, which is nearly silent. I could still hear it distinctly.

The earplugs are absolutely garbage and the company is scamming people to make a fortune. Looking at them I would say they cost probably a dollar to make each set.

HOWEVER, I did get an immediate refund when I contacted the company and asked for a return. So their customer service is very good.

I ordered some time ago, only just getting round to trying. I tried the Discovery Pack, which was a good job, as I didn’t think I would require the large size. But that is where slight criticism comes in, the earplugs do not feel as if they fill the ears, and noise can still flood in. They’re comfortable, and surprisingly do reduce noise besides earlier statements. The only thing being is, I don’t feel like I’ve had the best nights sleep after using them.

These are the first earplugs i have ever bought. I bought them since my family can be quite loud at night. I sleep on my side and the mid size plugs from the ocean discovery pack work great. I dont hear any noise from my family or from the main road i live next to. Really glad I found these first

My mom purchased the Discovery Package in May 2024 in preparation for a trip with her snoring daughter. Unfortunately, none of the ear plugs fit very well nor were able to block out much noise. The company was fantastic though ~ providing a refund once notified of the limited success with their ear plugs. Hopefully, a future design will provide better comfort and sound insulation (maybe designed more like a silicon ear bud) because the concept is great as is the environmental conscientiousness. Thank you, Happy Ears ~ a legit company with a great concept and great intentions... only needing an expanded design. -- KY
