Unaccountable. Inconsistent. Sarcastic and passive aggressive customer service reps with all the nice/nasty markers-I expect the same accusatory tit-for-tat tone in response to this survey as they feign “appreciation for feedback”
In just a few months I have had a number of issues, but focus this review on today’s event.
They ask that you have clothes ready at 7am but in my case the pick up didn’t happen until 11am -1pm meaning my clothes were out in elements for sometimes 6+ hours. That does not work for me. So, I relied on their reminder texts notifying when my stop was next as a queue to out my prepared clothes out.
Today, that text never came - I received the you’re next notification at the same time (literally) as the “sorry we missed your pickup”.
I called CS and was met with “well sometimes the texts don’t go out if the driver is in a bad area- but this is remedied by you making sure that your clothes are out at 7am. I can make a notation asking the driver to call or text next time if the clothes are not there”.
Then they circled back to say “ it is already our policy for the driver to call if the clothes are not there, you maybe didn’t take the call because drivers are calling from an unrecognized number.” I clarified during that call in real time that no driver or anyone else called me-it did not happen- to which the rep responded, “well like I said before, you really need to have your clothes out at 7am”. I clarified that even with all the fail safes in place (that all failed today), I am expected to leave my clothes out in the elements for a full twelve hours if it takes that long for their driver-the immediate (sarcastic) response was, yes, yes, that is exactly what I am saying:).
As I said, no accountability. So be prepared to deal with trite, insincere, nice/nasty reps who are well-scripted and well supported in blame shifting. They will interrupt and speak over you, will intentionally stay silent and not respond when they are called out ( to make the caller think they have left or disconnected the call), and most egregious, they are nasty enough to wish you a “great day” knowing you are unhappy with the service and issues are unresolved.
**Update** the 4-14-2026 response is the tit-for-tat that I predicted in my original post. “We feel the call was handled appropriately” supports the reason why your service is poor and your reps are empowered to handle calls as offensively as they do. There was no apology offered. Instead, was given an excuse for every process failure that occurred - with one pointing to the fact that “I” am responsible for the missed pick up because I wasn’t willing to leave my clothing in the elements for the 12 hour window as expected. The only solution your rep offered was to place a (poorly worded) note on my account for the driver to call if clothing is not out at pick up.
Which she promptly back tracked and followed up with the statement that the driver had called the day of the incident but that “I” (again blame on me) probably didn’t answer because I didn’t recognize their personal number. I, real time, proved that I did not receive a call from said driver- no apology was offered for the accusation of a missed call, or for the process failure.
As far as the credit offer- this was mentioned earlier in the call as a “a little credit we can give towards your next service” but towards the end of the conversation, I called your rep out for her sarcasm and for rudely interrupting me, to which she responded with (intentional) silence when I was done making my statement. When I signaled that I was done speaking, she closed the call with “have a nice day”. That is rude, no matter which way you view it. No follow through with the credit offered, no apology offered, and no credit applied to my account for the order I had the next day.
Your business culture, in my case and in other cases noted here, demonstrates one goal- to defend your position and prove you did not make any errors. As someone who manages call center training programs in a multi-billion dollar corp., I will tell you that this is not the best approach.
Some unsolicited advice: Have some humility. Try coaching with a zero tolerance for sarcasm with your phone reps and adopt sincerity in your responses, such as. We are sorry. Our systems failed. We will do better. How can we make it up to you?
Be better humans.

I am 77 and cannot climb all the stairs several times a day to use our downstairs laundry. I'm so glad I found this company. Clothes are returned next day fresh and clean. Price is reasonable with no hidden fees.

Laundry itself was great- clean fresh and smelled great! Was delayed for pickup by a day and then drop off delayed by two days with no communication on one of the days

I was totally disappointed with the way my laundry was service and with the customer service I received when I called. I sent in four items. Two bathroom rugs one that was quite large, one standard size throw blanket and one lightweight fleece zipper jacket. I specified when I called that the jacket and blanket should be washed separately. I didn't really think I had to say that because I couldn't imagine anyone putting a jacket or a blanket in with bathroom rugs but it seems like that's what happened. My fleece jacket was returned completely covered with pilled lint all over it which I could not brush off. When I called they asked me to send pictures which I did. They emailed back saying oh it appears that the jacket was washed with something else because there were not enough colors to wash it by itself which makes absolutely no sense to me at all. Who in their right mind would put a fleece jacket in with either a blanket or bathroom rugs?!?!
They told me they would give me $10 off the next time I sent in an order. Why would I possibly send them anything else at this point based on the fact that they don't follow instructions and don't seem to care that you are totally dissatisfied. I will never use them again as they are unreliable and difficult to work with.

Although my review above of the service I received on April 6th to the 7th, still holds true, I am happy to report that I received a phone call from HappyNest, wanting to discuss the above review. I spoke with Kara who is responsible in the Customer Service depth for these types of issues. We spoke for a good 20 minutes. Kara wanted to let me know that there were several missteps on their end after review of what happened. She told me that the person I spoke with about the issue initially was new and absolutely needed additional training and coaching. Kara said while they completely understood if I decided to not remain a customer, her goal was to let me know that they did value me as a customer and wanted to assure me there would be steps taken to assure this didn't happen again. She said she understood if I wanted to take time to consider. I was so impressed by her honesty and ability to communicate what had happened on their end ,that I told her I will absolutely consider using them again. I told Kara that I feel writing reviews is important because it's the only way companies can get real feedback. I told her that I write just as many positive reviews as negative reviews because I feel that is important too. I honestly feel like I was heard and I trusted what Kara told me regarding corrective measures on their end. I can't erase what happened with the initial service so that one star is appropriate however getting this phone call from Kara and the conversation we had is definitely a five-star review!

I used Happy Nest laundry for many years, spending hundreds of dollars a month. The service was reliable and the quality of things was generally ok. The app never works properly or accurately, and the app was a big draw for me to this service. My clothes, towels, and sheets have been worn down using their services with lots of holes and bags created by their industrial machines. I had throw out 2 pairs of luxury sheets that were only 1 year old due to this. But in general, the service has been reliable.
Happy Nest recently lost more than half my laundry order. It contained hundreds of dollars of clothes, and an irrepelacable sentimental item that belonged to a deceased family member.
Happy Nest has treated my lost laundry as if it is no big deal, and hasn't apologized or expressed any sense of understanding. The worst part is I leave for a trip tomorrow and now most of the clothes I planned to pack are missing. They are acting as if it not a burden for a customer to have to replace a huge portion of their wardrobe due to their mistake. No one can afford to do this.
HapoyNest will only provide me with up to $200 total in compensation (at their discretion, so I likely wont even receive that much) for my laundry with hundreds of dollars of clothes in it.
I will be taking them to small claims court to recoup my full loss, as it is unacceptable they do not properly compensate their customers.
I referred multiple people to them, and wish I hadn't.
It is bad enough they lost my laundry. But the customer service repsonse and woefully inadequate compensation policy is what has really upset me.
