I had given up all hope trying to…

I had given up all hope trying to recover my money, I wasted so much time and upfront costs with other debt collectors and lawyers. I gave it one last shot, I spoke to Lisa @ Harley Legal (God bless her) and she listened to my situation for almost 3 hours. I sent over all the evidence and emails I had. She managed to gather more evidence and information on my debtor and everything that transpired in the background that I knew nothing off and drafted a strong plan. within a week of Lisa taking on the case my debtor suddenly replied and appeared from the woodworks like the cockroach he is, begging and pleading for a payment plan. With Lisa’s backing, we agreed to the repayment plan. My debtor did try and skip payment days once or twice or go AWOL but a firm letter or voicemail from Lisa he brought him back in line, he kept up payments and interest! for 14 months and today I received my final payment and breathed a huge sigh of relief. Thank you Harley Legal!

Had a very poor experience with this …

OK so they recovered my debt, but I have to say that the experience with this company was quite painful. They have non existent communication skills, as the last reviewer pointed out. I was left in the dark and had to constantly chase them for any update, and the responses were also very blunt and unhelpful.

A total lack of attention to detail. They completely ignored all the details and documents I sent them, and just kept asking me the same questions again or asking for details I had already provided, going back and forth on irrelevant topics.

I don't think I will be using them again, they clearly need to learn some basic customer service and communication skills.

UPDATE 19/05/2017
=================
I had a call from them today after they saw this review, trying to get me to remove it. The woman had no interest in anything I had to say and constantly talked over me whenever I tried to speak. I really hate it when people do that, it is so rude.
All she could say was "but we recovered your debt" and claiming that the review must be false because of that one fact. I tried to explain that what I have written has nothing to do with whether they recovered the debt or not it was to do with overall service and poor communication, but sadly I I was talking to a brick wall.

She then tried to claim that because I have left other negative reviews here on trustpilot, that I obviously just do this for kicks. Again I tried to explain to her what the purpose of trustpilot was and why people leave reviews and they people do tend to use sites like this when they are unhappy, and also pointed out that what she said is clearly nonsense since I have obviously written several positive reviews for companies whose services I am happy with, but again I was talking to a brick wall.

She tried to tell me how hard it is to collect debts, and I do not know what they have to deal with yada yada, and how it is impossible to keep clients updated, at which point I advised her that my wife used to work for a debt collection company, so I do in fact know exactly how it works and what they do, and that I also deal with customers myself. All you have to do is send a weekly update to clients to let them know what is going on, rather than forcing them to chase you for updates, it isn't hard.

I also pointed out that the other reviewer had said the same opinion as myself, but she dismissed that and said it did not count because the review is several years old. But it seems to me that not much has changed since that last review.

I had to forcibly terminate the call, in the end, as she would not stop arguing with me.
