From ordering the mattress, to receiving the mattress. The service has been amazing. Great communication from Harry throughout. Efficient delivery and all round great customer service. Harry arranged a time for the mattress to be delivered and also called prior to his arrival. On to the mattress- I ordered a king size mattress 5'0 cotton mattress. It fits mine and my partners needs, very firm and from the quality of the mattress, looks very durable and long lasting. Harry also took my two old mattresses which was great service on his behalf. So far, no problems with the mattress and having great nights sleep since. Will definitely recommend to family and friends. Shopping from a local business and not co operate, brings the service to a better service with pride and care.

Harry provided an excellent product and customer service. We purchased two mattresses from his store. Both transactions were executed efficiently and delivery was swift. They took our old mattresses away for free which was an added attraction. We liked his professional and genuine approach to his business, that he clearly cares enormously about. Buying a mattress is both important and confusing but Harry made it easy. He advised and we chose easily. we are now proud owners of a supering, link Alpaca mattress.

The price is excellent for the quality - and it is quality - beautifully made, substantial and supremely comfortable. Its like sleeping in a posh hotel every night :o)

Ordering was easy, delivery was fast and efficient. The chaps heaved it up our tight staircase with ease.

I love that it's British made and that it's a London-based family owned company, no profits going to the ultra-rich Bezos of this world, which is a huge added bonus!

If you want a new mattress, look no further than buying from Harry. We had no idea how poor our old mattress was!! Our new one is supremely comfortable and, even in the recent heatwaves has kept us comfortable. Harry was great to deal with and communicated with us throughout the purchase. The customer service is superb, with personal attention from Harry himself. He provided excellent advice on choosing the right mattress for my wife & I, who have differing requirements... He was very flexible. He produced a custom size for us. Nothing was too much trouble. Payment was only due when the made-to-order mattress was ready for delivery. Manufacturing time was not too long. Also, importantly, the mattresses are MADE IN BRITAIN. Highly Recommend you choose these guys.

Harry has been so helpful in arranging the delivery of our mattress on an exact day to coincide with the delivery of our bed frame. The mattress is top notch and a week in we are very happy with our purchase and it’s great to support an up and coming business.

Excellent mattresses & prices – with outstanding customer service! Being a restless sleeper (and, admittedly, a picky customer) I asked for not just 1, but 2 mattress changes - which Harry arranged without complaint. Obtaining an extremely comfortable (final) mattress, combined with evident high quality and a sense of pride in craftsmanship made it a pleasure dealing with this business. Buying a mattress is a big thing for most people, both in terms of cost and the need for good quality sleep. Most of the big retailers make exchange promises but with conditions that make you nervous about how easy a return/exchange would really be. My experience with Harry Benmore (and his delivery ‘boys’) makes me very happy to give him an unqualified recommendation. This is a classic small, but well-established business that deserves to grow and be even more successful.

Thought long and hard of what to say and all I can think of is there is not a better company out there that can hold a candle to Harry benmore the quality is second to none and the service from Harry and his team can't bb put into words apart from there the best and you won't regret getting your next mattress of them is the best advice I can pass on .

Such a comfortable mattress - we are sleeping so well - and a lovely company - everyone we had contact with was just so nice!

Harry's advert popped up on my Instagram feed as we started to look for a new bed. I contacted Harry and my husband and I made arrangements to visit his shop. Harry was patient, knowledgeable and honest about all of the mattresses we tried and we tried most of them! By the time we left a new alpaca mattress and ottoman bed were ordered. Harry kept us up to date on the delivery timescale and the guys who delivered and put the bed together were polite and respectful. Altogether a great experience and I can't recommend Harry enough. I'm all for supporting smaller local businesses especially one like Harry's with the family history in the business. As for the bed and mattress, best night's sleep we've had in a long time 😊

I had been putting off buying a mattress as I was concerned I would end up buying the wrong one at the wrong price. Then I came across Harry, a local business selling quality British made mattresses. We visited Harry at his south London showroom as my husband and I had different requirements, we ended up buying a hybrid (gel) mattress which we have now used for a month and we have been sleeping well. Harry offered a great personal service, quick delivery with good communication throughout. Thoroughly recommend

I contacted Harry a couple of months ago unsure what mattress to buy. He arranged for me to visit his studio and talked me through the mattresses he had on offer. I chose one and delivery was quick.

I slept on the mattress for a couple of weeks but it wasn’t quite right for me, when I contacted Harry to use the 30 day sleep trial he was swift to reply with a recommendation of what to swap it for. Again quick delivery and very professional delivery team.

I found Harry Benmore mattresses online when I was searching for local mattress makers/suppliers as I wanted to avoid the big mattress stores with the big labels and big price tags. How lucky I was to find Harry Benmore!
His website had a link to connect with him via WhatsApp, he replied to a few queries and sent me accurate instructions on how to get to his shop in Essex. He was there to see us and went through all the options of mattresses, pros and cons of each. My schedule was tight for the delivery of the mattresses and Harry went out of his way to make the delivery arrangements within my timeframe. And in the end he was able to arrange delivery 2 days before the scheduled date, which was amazing!
The mattresses are great, very comfortable, with his guidance I’m positive I made the right choice.
I can’t recommend them enough!! If you are looking to buy a new mattress, avoid the big stores, support local businesses, and save money too!!

Love my mattress, the service from Harry was great. I was thinking about changing my mattress for another tension and although I didn’t in the end, Harry made it very easy to do if I wanted to.

Mattress itself is 10/10 - double seasons mattress. Great for someone who likes the slightly springy but still with great support.

I'm so pleased I opted for a mattress from Harry rather than one of the bigger much more expensive brands. From start to finish the service from Harry was excellent, and the delivery was extremely prompt.
