I've just experienced some amazing customer service to solve an issue I didn't know I had :). This business not only has wonderful products, they care about their customers, something so rare these days. Thanks for looking after me H&N.

As ever, Hartley & Noble have delivered in every way-excellent customer service and excellent products that make a real difference to production. I use their Russian doll bat system as well as their forms for hand-building which give excellent results. I have also recently had some bespoke forms made and their service and attention to detail was excellent.

I’m mostly a hand builder and bought H&Ns bespoke handwork boards. They are absolutely perfect to keep slabs flat to dry slowly so they don’t warp during firing. I can stack them and move them easily. The company was a joy to work with and willing to make custom sized pieces too. Their products are worth every penny. They even credited me back the overage in estimated shipping costs to the US. Kind and honest with a great product.

Super company, whose products have changed my throwing life! Bought the 'Russian doll' system, which is so ingenious, allowing all different sizes of base to be thrown on the appropriate tile, lifted off the wheel still on the tile, and then left to dry - best of all, the top-notch material used means that once the pot is dry it just lifts off, leaving a lovely smooth base. Saves so much time! And no more attempting to wire off without ruining the pot.
I hesitated a little over the price but really, it's totally worth it. I have now bought the Big Batt, allowing me to make plates in the same sort of way. Last but by no means least, the service is top notch; very helpful chat with actual people available before ordering, and quick dispatch. A great British company!

I am beyond pleased with everything about Hartley & Noble. I have my pottery studio in a room at home, which means I have limited space. I love the fact that their bats (yes, even the over the wheel system) are super slim, and gives me the opportunity to move my pots while they’re drying - clearing up space.

I haven’t had any reasons to contact their customer support, since I haven’t had any problems. I did however write to them just to say thank you, and they replied almost immediately and I love the fact that it feels like your talking to a friend instead of a stiff customer support employee.

Without Hartley & Noble I wouldn’t be able to enjoy pottery as much as I do.

I adore my H&N products. I have the Russian Doll Bat system, spider bat, measuring grid, large bats and shrinkage rulers. All incredibly useful, well made, stand the rest of time and I would t be without them. Customer service is excellent too.
