For those of us with busy lives or a sense of overwhelm when it comes to designing a kitchen, Charlotte is your solution! We have a small kitchen, wanted it all, and she patiently and expertly navigated us through a challenging design. It was like having a friend hand hold us through the process, who was beyond friendly, extremely experienced, brilliant at her job, and I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Great experience working with Charlotte at the Hove branch. Having never previously worked with HJ I didn’t know too much about them but after our initial consultation I left the Hove showroom confident HJ was the company I wanted to work with. Charlotte was fantastic, full of great ideas but always in mind of my budget, happy to make changes and incredibly patient. It was a pleasure working with Charlotte and the HJ team, would highly recommend.

Charlotte, Chloe and the rest of the team have been a joy to work with since we walked through the door. We have been working to tight deadlines and they have gone above and beyond in helping us to choose the right kitchen and units, and excellent advice around the edges for styling the space. Charlotte has been really proactive and organised, which has been invaluable.

Whilst we ended up deciding not to go with Harvey Jones for our kitchen, this was in no way due to the service we received, and was purely related to factors outside of their control. Charlotte in Hove was absolutely excellent and made the whole process from initial consultation to design incredibly easy and enjoyable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

We had a good kitchen design experience due to the employees at the Havey Jones Hove store who were always helpful replied to emails promply and were nice to talk to. Particularly our kitchen designer who provided usuful suggestions and was a pleasure to work with.

The design process with HJ Hove and Charlotte has been a pure delight. After meeting with several vendors I chose HJ because of their craftsmanship, welcoming and friendly atmosphere and customisable solutions. So far the process has been very enjoyable and it’s always been a nice addition to the week to come into the showroom and discuss design solutions with Charlotte. I’m now moving into the engineering stage and am sure the service will continue with on an equally great trajectory.

Having a Harvey Jones Home Visit was a huge plus for us planning our new kitchen and home renovation.
Our Designer Charlotte was very impressive, sharing a wide knowledge of cabinetry and storage solutions whilst being very warm and friendly.
Being able to share our current challenges in situ and for her to offer suggestions and solutions on the spot felt invaluable. She was able to measure out different options and gave a brilliant sense of how a new layout could benefit us.
Over-all having her experience the space and how the light moves around the house re-assures me that this will follow through to the design. I also loved how Charlotte was able to make suggestions for colours, appliances and even tiling and taps. She demonstrated great care and attention to details. Wish I could pick her brains for our entire house! Thank-you

From the moment we started working with Charlotte at Harvey Jones, we knew she was the one. She has a remarkable ability to make the whole kitchen design process feel easy and fun. Charlotte has such a keen eye for detail and incredible taste - she made the most thoughtful suggestions, expertly incorporating my love for Matilda Goad and a few of our favourite Instagram accounts. It felt like she truly understood the assignment and what we wanted. Her patience and kindness throughout the process meant the world to us. We honestly couldn’t have done it without her. Having purchased our kitchen from the Brighton & Hove branch of Harvey Jones back in 2015, it was still going strong almost 10 years later and then disaster struck early this year, when a leaking pipe in our bathroom caused major damage to our kitchen walls and ceiling. Zaynah couldn't have been more helpful and efficient during what turned out to be 5 stressful months of repairs, helping us to replace shelving and temporarily move a sink unit and worktop. Out of all the suppliers we've had to use to get our kitchen back to normal, Zaynah and the team were by far the most professional and reliable. A special shout out, too, to surveyor Darren for his help, knowledge and cheeriness during visits to our home and to carpenter Iain who did an amazing refit job.

Update (Installation journey - 1 to 2 stars):
The below information on the design process still stands (and would deserve more than the maximum 5 stars!).
However, we have had an awful experience with the installations team. The communication we've had from Harvey Jones has been incredibly poor; from sending the wrong (and outdated) plans to the fitter, to tradespeople that just didn't turn up - I would have expected the installations team to be on top of it. We've had damages and missing parts that we're yet to receive. The organisation and planning has not met the standard expected for a company that prides itself on being 'premium'.
Fitting began at the beginning of October, and at the end of December, we're still awaiting completion.

Original feedback (design team in Hove - 5 stars!):
We could have never imagined that going through the process of designing a kitchen could be so fun!
Charlotte has been incredible throughout - kind, knowledgeable, helpful, and an absolute super star.
From the initial design appointments, through to agreeing the plans with a nice cup of tea - everything was perfect. And as an absolute bonus, there was often a puppy to cuddle/melt your heart! <-- good sales tactics there! ;)
Between Charlotte and Zaynah, there wasn't a question that couldn't be answered. Charlotte also went above and beyond by talking to suppliers to get us the best options for our various requests.
We now have a beautifully designed kitchen that exceeds our expectations and we absolutely cannot wait to have it fitted!
Alongside the kitchen design itself, we found Charlotte hugely friendly, interesting and kind. We're going to miss seeing her in the Hove showroom on a Saturday morning, discussing cake, travelling (thank you for the local recommendations in Vienna) and interior design!

We are currently in the process of having our Harvey Jones kitchen installed. Charlotte from the Hove showroom designed our kitchen for us and has been a wonderful point of contact throughout the process. We worked together to create the perfect design for us and she was happy and patient to make sure it was just right. We can’t wait for installation to start and I feel confident we’ll be supported through the rest of the process.

Recently completed our kitchen remodel. Really pleased with the service received. Was overwhelmed by all the choices even after we had decided a rough design. Charlotte Dubery my designer booked out a Saturday afternoon to sit down and work it all through which was so helpful and broke through the analysis paralysis!

The design is great. Only feedback would be for Harvey Jones to consider at least some basic levels of customisation I.e painted bookshelf / larder drawers for the Hampton Range. We ended up going to a 3rd party carpenter for these bits as these weren’t offered unless going for the Heritage range.

Charlotte and the rest of the team were great from start to finish. Charlotte came up with great solutions for my small kitchen and it was lovely to work with someone who is genuinely passionate about beautiful interiors. She was very easy to communicate with and highly professional, friendly and enthusiastic throughout the whole process.

The only thing I would have wanted to improve is the range of options on the Hampton range eg the pocket doors for the larder...I hear they are in the pipeline though so for anyone thinking about this more economical range, I would highly recommend as the quality of unit are really excellent.

I would highly recommend Harvey Jones following our work with designer Charlotte in the Hove branch. Charlotte has an amazing eye for detail and as soon as she walked into our home she understood what we were after and how to make it work in our kitchen. The designs she produced were practical and beautiful, Charlotte really thought about visual symmetry and also took ideas we had for a window seat a step further. We were concerned about budget and she worked hard to take all of that into account as well so we felt really safe in trusting this brand and feeling it is a personalised service.

We now have a beautiful well made kitchen. It was a smooth as a new kitchen can go! Customer service is good and Charlotte was very helpful throughout.

We began our journey towards a new Harvey Jones kitchen before Christmas with a very professional and charming designer called Beth. She produced an excellent design for us so we were disappointed to learn that she had left the company. However Charlotte, our new designer, is equally professional and a delight to work with. It cannot be easy to take over someone else’s design but she handled the situation with sensitivity. We have also changed our ideas a few times but she has been endlessly patience and helpful, plainly determined to help us achieve the kitchen of our dreams. She listens carefully and makes the required adjustments very quickly and efficiently. We have now signed the contract and await a date for fitting.
Our thanks to Charlotte for holding our hands throughout the design process and tactfully helping us to achieve a good solution, acceptable to us both, when my husband and I had the occasional difference of opinion! She never attempts to impose her own ideas but when asked offers sound suggestions which are always well worth considering. She has a really good eye for design.
