My old haswing was having issues so I rang the guys at haswing Australia to get some advice to see if it was repairable or I have to get a new motor. The guy ran through my troubles, suggesting a number of problem solutions which I tried and all worked perfectly. Not only it is working like new but he saved me $2k by not having to buy a new motor 🙏 . Thank you so much.Regards Brett.

Haswing spot lock works fine on first location in the day, but when trying to use on second location it keeps taking me back to initial position and does not want to use 2nd location

August 2023 The battery in remote for my motor died and the motor is unusable without a bluetooth connected remote. I tried to order a replacement remote and was told by Haswing outdoors that the remote was on back order and they would send me an email when the remote was available. no email ever came. March 2024, I emailed again, and was told that all the remotes were sold. When I asked why was I not emailed? As you can guess It was a "oh, we're sorry." Fast forward to today when I received the following email

So if the existing remote will not work and I’ve been advised by you and your team that the only option is to use the option provided. What is my option?

We suggested replacing the V00 version of the remote control before the manufacturer announced the decision to stop production of the first version since eldest version is way too old.
but as long as the manufacturer has stopped producing the V00 version, we can't offer you any other way but to replace it with the latest version of the motor.

So I spent $1600 on a trolling motor on a motor that is better used as a boat anchor. You’re telling me that I should spend another $1600 because you can’t support the original. No. This is ridiculous. Not an option. I want it replaced!

This is not my problem. This is your problem that has become my problem.

Do NOT purchase from this Haswing Outdoors and product any motor. These people should be out of business and charged

Paid for express delivery to receive the product in 2 days as advised over the phone, and it come 9 days later.

Haswing was a Joy to deal with. Communication before during and after the sale was excelent. I bought a 24Volt Protruar G3.0 electric outboard for my 4.0m Polly Boat. The motor is great value for money. Having a reduction gear and larger propellor makes it very efficient. I had batteries from my previous 24V motor and wanted to keep the same setup.

Very fast postage time, and even supplied extra waterproof plugs for the unit at no cost.

Coming from a terrible experience with Motorguide I had some reservations about this less-known brand. After hearing of a friend positive experience with a Cayman I decided to go with it.
I have owned a Cayman B 80 lb 83 inches on a 6.5 M Plate boat for over a year now and I think is time to put a review out here.
I've been using it on average once a week on the open ocean in southwest WA and I can say it's been awesome.
No issues at all only impressive power for an 80lb model, very decent battery consumption too...
With two 100 AH lithium, I can be spot-locking for 5 to 8 hours on 2 to 3 M swell and wind up to 10 knots. when gets windier around 15knt start to struggle a bit but only if well is in the equation, again I have a 6.5M Jackman hull that weighs 2T loaded with 2 people....
I really can't fault that!
