I've used Hatch a few times and have emailed 3 times since February asking for some further printing, they just do not reply, so I guess they just do not want my business anymore.

Avoid
I ordered some business cards that arrived great and that was the last easy transaction I've had.
I then ordered flyers and roller banners for some events.
One roller banner had to be remade as it arrived damaged.
Half my leaflets were lost/not included in the delivery and had to be reprinted. However, these were delivered with the incorrect finish/different paper to the original order.
The other half of my flyer order arrived with shoddy print cutting. Very unprofessional and further evidence of a lack of quality control.
Slow customer service replies, slow to rectify errors and provide refunds.
Their business ethics sound ideal but I would avoid them like the plague if you want to receive a high-quality product on time.
Arrived after the event, no reply to queries
Quoted 1-3 days, not obvious this was only delivery and not processing - followed up twice and got no response. Sent a complaint after, but still no reply. Will be using local companies only from now on which actually have customer service.
I will never use them again
I will never use them again - last order ended up with a legal claim.
I have ordered from Hatch over a number of years, and while there were often issues with delivery and quality*, I endeavored to use their service because of the sustainable materials used.
However, with a recent order of business cards, what they printed was on the wrong paper, with poor print quality (blotchy) and with a distorted image (not as per the online proof). They were not going to be able to fix this in time and went back on original plans to rectify the matter, so I requested a refund.
They were repeatedly dishonest about the cause of the issue, and proceeded to try and mislead and deceive me about my statutory rights, re: refund. This stretched on for a couple of weeks with no progress, before finally this was referred for a court claim to get the refund.
They now should be fully aware that our legal statutory rights trump their policies, and no matter how much they look to tell people otherwise, if you supply something that is not as ordered, and not to a suitable standard, then customers are entitled to a refund.
They have no excuse for doing this to someone else in future, however, from my dealings with them, it wouldn't surprise me if they still try - they haven't yet corrected their policies on their website to bring it in line with the law.
*With regards general issues - Delivery - despite often paying for next day and ordering within their cut off time, not one order that we have ever placed with them has been delivered next day. Some have even taken weeks. Quality - regularly there were issues with colours in our prints, which were inconsistent across a print run. We have since found and ordered through other print companies with whom we have happily not found any of these issues.
Main point - Absolutely avoid this company!
Super Helpful
The staff are super lovely and very informative on all aspects of printing. I stopped by the studio and was shown all the different options for printing materials and was able to pick on to go ahead with. As someone who has never approached commercial printing before, the team couldn’t have made it any easier to understand. Katie is incredibly helpful and ensured that everything with my order went smoothly. Plus, local discounts are a fantastic idea.

I asked for my best man's speech to be printed and the service was fantastic. I dropped by unexpectedly and I was in and out within 10 mins. I showed the team how I wanted the speech to be printed and to be on card and it was perfect! thanks again Hatch, I'll definitely be returning for any presentations where I have to read from cards

Such a shame. Really great service first few times. We recommended them to others. Fobbed off with courier to blame (DPD), no attempt to compensate. We value our customers and go out of our way to keep them. Hatch don't seem bothered that we'll go elsewhere in future.

We get our bespoke printed seeded postcards from Hatch and absolutely love them, as do our customers! Great communication with the Hatch team and always delivered on time. It's great to support a small business and we will continue to use Hatch in the future.

Beautiful cards and a fantastic service
Hatch were the only company I found who would deliver on a Saturday - an absolute lifesaver! I ordered late on Thursday and the cards were with me by 8am on Saturday morning, 10/10 service. Plus, the cards are absolutely fantastic! Everyone I handed one to at the event I attended commented on the beautiful, soft texture. Thank you Hatch, I'll never buy cards from anywhere else again!
