This company now contacted me through Facebook and not even email asking that reach out to UPS and sort out all the import paper work and charges. What kind of company does this!! If you cannot deal with import paper, you shouldn’t be shipping to foreign countries. And if I don’t do it, they throw away the hats and I loose my company.

NEVER ORDERING AGAIN FROM HATSHITSTORE

Here’s my experience with Hatstore.co.in

I recently ordered caps worth ₹16,000 from Hatstore, attracted by their free shipping offer. However, upon delivery, I was slapped with an unexpected ₹8,200 customs duty - charges that weren’t clearly mentioned during checkout.

Digging deeper, I discovered that Hatstore operates an Indian domain with pages in Hindi, giving the false impression they’re based in India, while they’re actually located in Sweden. To make matters worse, the caps aren’t even made in Sweden; they’re produced in China. It’s frustrating to realize I could’ve bypassed the middleman and bought directly from China.

When I reached out to customer service, they initially offered a meager 10% discount, which barely made a dent in the extra costs. After pushing further, they upped it to 20%, but even then, the refund was just ₹1000.

Throughout this ordeal, their customer service was unresponsive and unhelpful, making the whole experience incredibly frustrating.

I strongly advise potential customers to be cautious when dealing with Hatstore, as their lack of transparency regarding additional charges and inadequate customer support can lead to significant financial losses and frustration.
