While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

If I could give no stars I would

We are disgusted by the service we have received. Do not feel hopeful if someone messages you after you have published your review. They do not want to help. They just want you to take your previous review down. I will not back down. I feel like we have been treated so unfairly in the middle of a global pandemic too. I will take this as far as I can. Please any other company facing issues, I urge you to contact your local MP and the CEO for both Haven Power and Drax. I also encourage you to contact your local newspaper and the national ones. I can guarantee they will be interested in what you have to say.

Be careful

l have just taken over a shop and for a month they did not let me switch my account to a supplier l would like to use. Then l have received 2 bills for the period that l couldn't switched to my supplier. THey claimed that l have used 2000kwh electricity and l owed them over a 1000 pounds. when l went to check my meter the readings they claimed to collected from my smart meter was no way near 2000kwh actually it was about 50kwh as the shop was closed during the time l had to stay with them. Now trying to fix this issue as if it's my issue
Such a unprofessional company and they think we are stupid to pay any money they want to claim.
Never trust this people check your meters guys.

I would give them a ZERO if i could

I would give them a ZERO if i could! STAY AWAY, THEY WILL TRY TO RUIN YOUR CREDIT RATING!

We are a business customer and i can confidently say that HAVEN POWER are atrocious who do not know what they are doing.

They overcharge due to their faulty meters and when raise this with them and ask them to resolve we didn't hear back from them. The next thing we know is that they've started county court proceedings without our knowledge or going through the correct legals.

Instead of contacting us properly through correspondence address provided to them they sent letters to our other addresses by doing land registry check on us (even though we had explicitly told them that they are tenanted properties and legally we can not access mail from those addresses (hence we gave them our office address for all invoicing and correspondence which they always used when sending us invoices previously). They have admitted they have our office address as the main correspondence address yet did not send us the county court judgement to us knowing full well we would not received the court letter and not be able to represent ourselves in court.

In order to get the court judgement their favour they sent all county court letters to the site address which we were completely oblivious to. Once they had the judgement they then send high court enforcers to your actual correspondence address to collect the money! Very UNDERHANDED!

HAVEN POWER STILL DO NOT ADMIT FAULT OR TRY TO RESOLVE!

So many similar complaints on here and on other blogs. Please stay away from them. We have now escalated this via the energy ombudsman and we would encourage others to do the same.
