The quality of my sliding doors and the precision of their fitting was excellent. My only quibble, and it may well apply to all other manufacturers, is the length of time between the measuring of the opening and the time ready for fitting - 10 weeks! I wish HBD had made that delay very evident at the time of ordering. I would have, at least, made enquiries of other suppliers, but having said that, the doors are beautifully smooth and look excellent. Just what we hoped for.

The sales team is good at getting you committed with words. But the delivery really falls short. Survey team takes two weeks to come onsite. And one week after the survey was done, the survey team only came back to say they’ve missed the measurement and have to come back again. It takes them four weeks to actually get the survey done.

Then the production lead time is way longer than most other vendors. In the sales pitch they will tell you it’s 8 weeks and they can even try to shorten it. But trust me once the money is in their account, the lead time only goes longer. By the time our survey is completed to currently expected installation, it is 12 weeks. I will update my review when the product is installed, but so far very disappointed with lead time, and the little effort that goes into the actual delivery process. Things won’t move unless the customer follows up constantly which is a nuisance.

One of their drivers was displaying awful road rage driving through Hertford this morning. Nearly drove me and my young children off the road. Nasty hand signals, overtook on the inside lane and sped off. Really unpleasant and not a great example to set for his company.

Our bifold door dropped a bit so we needed to call on the warranty. Someone came out within a few days. All sorted. Good reliable service.

Excellent customer service from sales to fitting. Everything is explained from the outset as to how the process works. They did exactly what they said they would in a very friendly way. I am soooooo pleased with my bifold doors, the two guys that did the fitting were lovely, didn’t take as long as I thought it would and they left everything clean & tidy.

All the interactions with HBD have been excellent both for this installation and previous work we have had carried out.

We were kept informed throughout the process and come time of the installation, the work was carried out efficiently without fuss, even when there were a couple of challenges to be overcome.

Very pleased with the outcome which is a significant step up from our previous sliding doors.

Super helpful advice on my visit to the showroom. The team measuring up were on time, friendly and informative. On the day of installation the team were very helpful with prepping the room with me, they were so quick and clean with their installation of the window and tidied up after themselves as they left.

The window looks like a timber window, in keeping with the area and super easy to use and maintain

Will be booking in for the rest of my house very soon

We wanted 2 sliding doors only to cover 6 meters so the wow factor in our new lounge/kitchen space would be the view of our large mature garden.

We obtained via HBD sliding doors 3m wide x 2.1m high each so 6m covered by 2 panels. When closed, the frame between the 2 glass panels was only 20cm wide so hardly any interruption to the view. The garden now feels part of the lounge experience. We are very happy with the results.

The build quality is excellent, the doors easily slide across. The finish is to a high standard. The doors are expensive but for 3mx2m of glass x2 unfortunately it will be. The price we paid was very competitive.

Support throughout the process was very good and we were helped with door handles, frame colours etc. Guys fitting the doors obviously knew what they were doing. Would recommend.

We had quite a big order with HBD, over 4 years ago, using them for our glass sliding doors and front door and they have been brilliant. Not only do, they do a good job, but their after-care service has been superb.

Just had HBD Systems install a 6.25M Sliding Patio Door. I found them to be very friendly, professional and accommodated their install to work with my build. The Sunflex door they installed is beautiful. I can't wait to use it once the warm weather arrives.

I would use them again and would recommend them without hesitation.

HBD are horrible unfriendly. All smiles before you order, thereafter totally focused on putting the blame on the customer. Kept asking us to sign paperwork, kept threatening extra costs if we made a slip up.

HBD fitted our internal crittall doors, we are really happy with the quality and the fitters were really diligent and professional. HBD also have a great after-care service, as they returned to fix a latch.

Very good experience, extremely happy with our Origin sliding doors and picture window. Would definitely recommend and we will be using HBD again for replacing more windows in our house in future.

The sliding Sunflex doors provided and installed by HBD have really enhanced our lives! From or initial consultation with Scott who provided excellent product knowledge and advice and the installation the project went smoothly and efficiently. They liaised with our builder and ensured that we were completely satisfied.

HBD supplied & installed Origin OS29 sliding no doors for me. The price was really competitive & Aaron was really helpful. The aftercare service has also been really good & they came and sorted a minor imperfection in the paint without any quibble. The doors look fab & i’d definitely recommend them.

We bought a pair of bi-fold doors from HBD and they are excellent quality and great value. The people we dealt with at HBD were extremely friendly, professional and knowledgeable. There was no element of hard sell. There was one small glitch with the locking mechanism on one of the doors and HBD responded brilliantly, so i can say that their after-sales service is excellent. I recommend HBD without hesitation.

I just had Origin internal doors supplied and fitted. I highly recommend HBD systems.
The showroom in St Albans has a fantastic range and we were helped by knowledgeable staff.

The staff is friendly and helpful. The installers are polite and have excellent workmanship. I got a stunning entrance door and am very pleased with it. Absolutely recommend it to others.
