Gemma and Rupert were so efficient when dealing with a very difficult where I was executor to my best friend's estate.
I have already recommended them to someone else who is delighted with their service also.

Would highly recommened HCB Legal, they acted on our behalf on a challenging leasehold property sale. Communication was prompt, to the point and they provided good advice when needed. Would happily use again on any future sale.

Gemma Taylor acted for me last year on the complicated sale of a flat in London and acted for me this year on a purchase of a house outside London. Each time, she has been proactive, communicative, efficient, friendly and painstaking and I have been urging friends and family to move house purely so they have the pleasure of working with someone so good at their job! I feel lucky to have had her on my side.

The only reason we haven't given a Five * response is because I have had to chase twice. First for us to come in and change and sign the new will's due to change of address and then to chase for the new will's to be sent.

I hate to boring, but I'm going to give Chris and Rupert five stars too! Helpful, efficient and good value for money. Chris was proactive and unlike other solicitors I contacted, gave me advice on something the mortgage company had done wrong thereby saving me money.

Gemma - very helpful and good advice for a first time buyer.

HCB acted as my conveyancer for my first home after a recommendation from my colleague. Being a first time buyer, I lacked knowledge and had a lot of questions during the process. Chris and Rupert never made me feel stupid or that I was bothersome, and were both incredibly helpful and responsive throughout. They were very efficient at each stage, even to the point that my seller's solicitors commented on how impressed they were with HCB's turnaround times. Any issues were quickly identified and addressed. I have heard horror stories from other people about their own solicitors, but I experienced none of that with HCB. I would use them again and would recommend them to my friends and family.

The sale of my leasehold flat has quite frankly been a huge pain because of management companies dragging their feet for 6 months. Abbey and Sam could not have been more professional or friendly throughout the whole process, providing reassurance and knowledge when I needed it most. I have finally completed today which is a massive relief! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Abbey or Sam, and will definitely consider their services for purchasing future properties.
