HD Law opened several claims in my name
HD Law opened several claims in my name using identical signatures on multiple authority forms for different lenders. I did not provide ID, did not knowingly sign anything, and did not authorise them to act on my behalf. Despite this, they contacted lenders, chased me for ID afterwards, and pressured me with cancellation fee threats.
I have raised concerns with the relevant regulatory bodies due to the way my personal data appears to have been used. Of course you would refute my concern, when you are called out .

To submit a claim through our website, users are required to complete a structured online form and actively confirm their consent before any claim is initiated. This includes:
Providing their personal details directly into the form
Reviewing and agreeing to our terms and conditions
Applying their signature electronically
Clicking to submit the claim, which acts as confirmation of authority for us to proceed
At no stage can a claim be submitted, or authority forms generated, without these steps being completed by the user. The application of a signature is not done arbitrarily — it is part of a user-authorised digital process that requires explicit action and consent.
We do not request identification until a later stage in the process, which is standard practice and dependent on lender requirements. This does not indicate that a claim was opened without consent, but rather that further verification is needed to progress it.
If multiple claims were submitted, this would reflect multiple selections or submissions made during the application process.
We strongly refute any suggestion that claims are opened without user authorisation or that personal data is used improperly. All submissions are made through a consent-driven digital journey.
That said, we are happy to investigate this matter further. Please contact us directly so we can review the specific case in detail.
