Faulty product, terrible customer service
Head & Haft made us a dining table which we subsequently found out had not been surface finished properly, meaning it stained easily whenever any liquid was spilt. With a young family, it became very marked, very quickly!
I had no real issue with this so far - teething issues like this can happen. We contacted Chris and he admitted he was at fault and promised to re-finish the table.
After this and despite several subsequent attempts to contact him, we disappointingly have not heard anything from him since. After 8 weeks of radio-silence I gave up trying to get him to re-finish it, and had to pay for someone else to finish the table at not inconsiderable cost to myself.
Head and Haft are still using photos of my table on instagram to promote their furniture, and I commented on the photo expressing my dissatisfaction about the events described above. Interestingly, my comment has been taken down from their Instagram page, (but the photos remain!!) and still no communication from Chris, four months on....
A really disappointing result, and terrible customer service.
