Dr. Idris Elmas, you are a magnificent doctor! You brought my dream to life, and thanks to your assistant, Ms. Gözde, and your attentiveness and helpfulness, the process was easily overcome. I had the Gastric Balloon

I had the Gastric Balloon. I had my doubts however SEMiH explained everything in detail and I also felt satisfied after taking with the doctor before the procedure.
Overall very good experience.
Totally recommend.

Gastric Balloon



I had exceptional care from Healthy life clinic from the initial telephone call. On my initial contact, the care coordinator (Semih) was very responsive and answered all questions and provided illustrations. Furthermore, he introduced me to a recent patient who had already undertaken the gastric balloon journey. I was able to speak to her and gained her perspective and experience. Although our journeys are all unique, this at least provided me with further insight into the procedure for the gastric balloon and I felt reassured and confident. On the day of balloon insertion the care coordinator (Semih) was there to receive me and he explained the process once again in person. The clinic is clean, well presented with friendly staff who speak English which was helpful. Dr Tugen was approachable, warm and welcoming and addressed any anxiety I felt by explaining the procedure in detail including showing me the demo gastric balloon and the process! The anesthetist and his assistant were very friendly, however they did not speak English and this may be beneficial as they hold a crucial role in sedation and calming any anxiety pre balloon insertion. Semih, however was there to facilitate communication. The procedure went smoothly and I was taken to a hotel where Semih checked on me regularly. The recovery process was not easy as the balloon settled but the team was there for support. The clinic has an in-house Dietician (Elif) who is dedicated to her craft. She provided a diet plan every step of the way and checked in every month to ensure I was eating correctly and actually losing the weight. The diet plan was planned in line with my daily activities. A few months later, I craved my African meals and she took time to research and she devised a special plan to include a culturally specific meal plan which worked well as one of the meats had lots of collagen and when I lost weight I did not have loose skin after weight loss due to collagen intake! Elif was just as responsive as Semih and ready to help consistently. In total, I lost 28kg in 10 months and i feel the combination of the gastic botox and gastric balloon was effective. I returned to have the balloon taken out recently and it took a day to recover and travel back to the UK. A recommendation for the clinic would be to have some psychological support because it can be a gruelling process psychologically and especially when the root cause for overeating has not been addressed. Overall I had a good experience with healthy life clinic as per above!

Fantastic Experience with Healthy Life Clinic

Healthy Life Clinic was amazing from start to finish during my gastric balloon and Botox journey. Traveling on my own, I was naturally a bit nervous, but Semih immediately put my worries at ease. His support and reassurance made the entire process smooth and calming.

The clinic itself is modern, spotless, and exceptionally well-maintained. The team was not only professional but also incredibly kind and helpful throughout. When I returned the following year to have the balloon removed, it felt like reuniting with old friends. The same level of care and support was there from start to finish.

I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would wholeheartedly recommend Healthy Life Clinic to anyone.

They cared about me and didn't leave me…

They cared about me and didn't leave me alone. The Chirurg was very carefull and I had enough appointment to check up after surgery. Also the coordinators and translators were very nice carefully and but all the time that they have to care about them. More to say but bo space. :-)

Also Sevil understanding helpful, beautiful soul. I have had only positive experiences with the clinic. I was very satisfied with the service on site and even now can always turn to my contact person if I have any questions. I am super happy with my decision and would have chosen Healty Life Clinic.

Happy that i choose this clinic !

I’m isi from Germany and i just like to say, that i was really happy with the service. And also the staff is really friendly and good organised. I’m always in contact with the clinic. They up date me with new meal plans and ask how i feel. I’m glad that i choos the healthylifeclinic and in would do it again.

TERRIBLE

TERRIBLE. They charge for service you don't get and then ignore you when you leave!!
Do not use this Clinic!
Avoid at all costs!

Is your reply a joke??? You have all documents, you have all proof of services purchased. This is going on months and now you reply like this claiming you dont know the complaint??? There are no deviating claims. Your response is pure lies!

We were charged for aftercare we never received, we were charged twice for shakes, never mind the other financial outlays we made having to attend other hospitals, flights etc.

Also you never respond to calls or txts. You didnt even know we were patients and tried to sell the product to us again. You claim you are trying to resolve yet you havent made contact for months and when you did promised you would send and email and didnt, and also stated you were having difficult times personally at the moment!! Very professional!

Update - I received correspondence eventually on the Thursday 6th April.

I had suggested we come to an agreement to refund the over charge and also for services not received. I did not mention any figures as I naively thought this company would eventually do the right thing.

I was offered a refund of €100 each. This is an absolut insult after all the stress they have caused, never mind the additional expenses we have had to pay out. This also included a demand to remove this post.

By no means are we looking to receive more that was paid in the first place, simply a refund for services not received and the initial double charge for an item that was already invoiced for.

To quote the company - "Our doctor is used to dissatisfied patients complaining".

They have also accepted that no follow up was given and that we were overcharged.

They continually say they have no documentation yet they must at this stage have 100 txts and emails from me so this again is a lie.

Please be very careful if choosing this company for your procedure.

Firstly, my name is on this review so Dear XXX just shows another level of your customer care!!
I presented a solution, I did indeed, and I have been completely transparent in this and have stated the offer in my post above. The solution was to be refunded for the overpayment charge and to be refunded for the service you did not supply. I am not seeking a full refund, simply a refund for services not provided.
Your offer was €100.
This offer of €100 only covers the overpayment we have already made (each). So yes, I refused it as there is no refund for the after-care service that you did not provide. Also, to reiterate I never stated a figure as I assumed, as you had admitted liability for lack of after service and overpayment that the figure would be accurate.
You cannot state I did not accept my agreement as I never stated a figure, I stated that a refund was to be made for the over payment and the failure to provide after care, this is not €100, and you are fully aware of this!!!
I did not accept, therefore you told me to only contact you via your solicitors. I have been trying to obtain this information from you since the 6/4/23. You will not respond to calls, emails or text messages.
You again state there is no evidence to support anything despite your admission of negligence? Also you have received over and over proof of same so please refrain from this slander. I can happily share the messages on this forum should you wish.
Please do share any documents you think I have lied about, that are untruths as I will gladly respond to same – there are none!
Also, to note, you contacted Trust Pilot to get this post removed, that I was damaging your reputation, we I am sorry you feel this way, but people need to know the truth!!! You take the money and run!
I have no choice but to state facts on trust pilot as you will not provide details of your solicitor so we can indeed do as you requested and go through them. The failure to resolve amicably will bring a different case via solicitors but I am very happy to do so and as you know I have already shared the contact details of my solicitor in Izmir with you. Yet still awaiting your details.
Again, I am not sure of your understanding of the law but you admitted you did not provide after care, so how can this be an unfounded accusation on my part?

30/5/23 - Health life clinic are still ignoring messages and will not provide details of their solicitor.

Sadly the company still has little regard for clients which means we have no option but to proceed to court.

"Hello Mrs. XXX, if you no longer accept the offer that you proposed yourself and would like to pursue legal action, we kindly request that all further communication regarding this matter be done through legal means. We are trying to resolve this issue amicably and have agreed to your demand, even though there is no evidence to support it on your end. Unfortunately, it appears that you do not agree with your own proposal. We wish you a pleasant weekend and hope that you will reconsider this solution despite your previous statement."

Our doctor is used to dissatisfied patients complaining and can deal with them legally and humanely without any problems. In your case, it is about an accusation that you cannot prove and therefore would not be successful. this is a serious accusation in every respect. This would lead to a dispute that our doctor would never want to accuse a patient or himself of.

Thank you for your reply. You state you have no reliable facts. This is again untrue and facts have been sent to you over and over again but you have not replied to one of my queries.

You have also not enaged with my Turkish conterpart when information has been requested.

All your comments below are false and we have provided proof of same. You have simply billed for a service you did not provide and changed twice for items already paid for.

This is fact and you have proof of same so please get your facts correct!
