I had an excellent experience with Heart of England Tutors. From the first consultation, they took time to understand exactly what my child needed and matched us with a tutor who was genuinely passionate about teaching. The sessions were extremely well structured, and the tutor constantly shared progress updates, which helped us see real improvements week by week. What impressed me the most was their personal approach—nothing felt generic or rushed. My child gained confidence, performed better in school, and actually began enjoying the subjects they used to struggle with. Truly a reliable, supportive, and professional tutoring service.

Sonia is brilliant. My daughter attended in year 10 and brought Nicole up to the top set in maths. My son has been going to Sonia last year and again this year and is now in top set maths going into GCSEs so I would highly recommend!!!!

Grace has come on leaps and bounds since being tutored. Sonia has been really, and the style of tutoring has really improved Graces results over her Mocks and given her more confidence going into exams. Sonia has been very helpful and responsive to enquiries and offered extra support when required.

Sonia has tutored all 3 of my sons. She tailors the sessions, and prepares her lessons, and practice questions, in advance of the sessions.
The sessions definitely helped them to achieve higher grades.

My daughter started weekly sessions with Sonia at the start of Year 8. She had felt disheartened about her end of Y7 maths results and was beginning to develop anxiety around the subject. She has attended Sonia's sessions for a term and a half now and during this time she has seen her maths results more than double resulting in her moving up a maths set.
The benefits have included: time in the weekly session to revisit any misconceptions, planning linked to what is being covered in school so the learning can be broken down further, time to complete homework under tutor's guidance.

Heart of England tutors has made all the difference to my daughter. Our journey began a couple of years ago with a summer maths workshop and continued with weekly workshops up until GCSE exams last summer. My daughter is Autistic and was struggling in Maths, a combination of missed education during the pandemic and a shortage of Maths teachers at her school. My daughter really had fallen out with Maths and had lost confidence in her ability to pass it. However, she always enjoyed the workshops and over time built confidence. My daughter went on to achieve a good pass in Maths which was a fantastic achievement. Throughout, Heart of England tutors have been amazing. I would recommend to any parent, particularly if you're on budget and one to one tutoring isn't an option.
