I ordered some ear cuffs from another company that tarnished very badly and I could not clean them. I ordered and pair from Heartmadeofgold.com and they’re perfect! I ordered another pair and they were never delivered, so they sent me a pair at no charge! Excellent customer service, very impressed! Thank-you

The customer service was great! I really didn't expect to be helped in a satisfactory way as online communications a lot of times go unanswered. my email was answered quickly and they are sending a replacement ring to me! One of the jewels fell out and the ring is not that old. I am thrilled!!!

I have purchased multiple earrings from this company and have loved each and every one of them! They're gorgeous, dainty, lightweight, yet just the right amount of fabulous!

High quality jewelry. I wear my necklace several times a week, even in the shower and swimming. After almost a year it still look brand new. I get a lot of compliments as well.

Weirdo brand who keeps harassing me via email and texts after they sold me false jewelry and refuse to let me return it for a refund. Once I realized they weren't going to help me I stopped responding and I'm getting messages saying "Oh no we also have to add that we find it incredibly rude to leave multiple reviews publicly. Please be more kind to small businesses. Ignoring our emails and text is very rude." Also they delete any bad reviews on their website so do not trust what is written.

Buy from literally anywhere else. They sell plated jewelry as waterproof. Sizing is all over the place, they don't use a mold. Customer service alone is not worth giving them a penny.

I requested a discount on the product I ordered as I wasn’t able to apply the promo at check out and they immediately took care of it!! Cannot wait to get my bracelet!

I purchased what the company labeled as a "Gold Filled Bezel" bracelet. Prior to making my purchase, I contacted the company to ensure it was actually gold-filled, which they confirmed, and it is also written all over the product page that the piece is gold-filled. When I received the item, I was immediately troubled by the color of the gold because it looked more gold-plated, but the item had a "GF" stamped on it, so I thought I was safe with a piece that would stay gold for life.

After several months of wearing it, the gold has rubbed off and is now showing brassy tones, indicating it is gold-plated.

I have been purchasing quality jewelry for over 15 years and I know what truly gold-filled wear and tear looks like. I have also had gold-plated jewelry in the past and I know it fades to brass over time.

I sent the company an email on 05/30/2025 requesting a refund, and these were their responses to me:

Can I please get a refund on this order? The bracelet has completely tarnished, which means it is not truly gold filled and the product page contains false advertising.

Company's response:

Thank you for reaching out. Unfortunately, we don't offer refunds on any worn item. The items you received our 14k gold filled and are stamped accordingly. Please do not make unkind assumptions about our business as we do not false advertise our products. To incinuate such a thing is very poor manners on your part.

My response:

Hello Hailey,

I’m very familiar with different gold types for jewelry and this item is clearly is not gold filled. I take very good care of all of my jewelry items and this has faded like gold plated jewelry and now has a copper tone, which indicates this is not truly gold filled.

I’m extremely disappointed in your response. You clearly do not care about quality assurance or customer service. I plan to report your company to the better business bureau and post a comment on trust pilot.

Their response:

What you are referring to is the brass material which is what real gold filled is. We are extremely disappointed in how you treat small businesses. Take care of yourself.

My response:

That is what gold-plated is… Again, I am familiar with the different gold types for jewelry. After years of gold-plated jewelry, I only buy gold filled. Your response is extremely unacceptable and poor business. You should be ashamed. I support almost all small businesses, but I do not tolerate responses like this, no matter who it’s from.

Their response:

Respect goes both ways. You might want to go back and read your initial email in which you were utterly rude.

To say I am completely blown away with their responses to me is an understatement. I cannot believe they are okay with operating in such a way and deem it appropriate to speak to its customers like this. If their product was truly gold-filled, it shouldn't have tarnished, and if they cared about quality assurance and customer service, they would try to make it right.

I also don't think there was anything "rude" about my initial email to them. Gold-filled jewelry is not supposed to tarnish. All of my jewelry is gold-filled or solid gold and I can sweat, shower, and absolutely live 100% of the time in my jewelry without it fading to brass. I don't think it's rude or unfair to feel duped by a rapidly tarnishing piece of jewelry and request a refund.

If you care about customer service or product quality at all, you will avoid this business at all costs.

How disappointing. I feel duped. I ordered a necklace because I wanted something gold filled that would last. I specifically chose this etsy shop because it said there's a 1 year warranty and they accepted returns. I got a necklace that was pretty but too big and not what I wanted.

The return process is not what I expected. It's store credit only for sale items (most items are on sale). It says free shipping but it's not free if you're using store credit (which I do not see stated anywhere). They send promo emails for more store credit but won't let you use multiple store credits for one purchase.

I wish I could just get my money back but they won't do that.

"It's common sense that the credit is eligible for orders placed after the promotional date. You are trying to take advantage of some kind of loop hole and it's just a bit of a reach. To try to take advantage of a nice gesture I offered my customers is extremely disappointing and I suggest you reflect on how you treat small businesses. I was happy to waive the free shipping once you decided the item you wanted to exchange for but instead you choose this route of lets not solve the problem rather vent.

I see we are not getting anywhere here and you rather be passive aggressive towards me instead of completing the exchange. I will be canceling the order and mailing back the other item to you. Take care."

Beautifully made jewelry that doesn't tarnish. Gold filled that looks and feels like solid gold. Very fast delivery!

Terrible customer service. Emails chiding me for trying to get the ring I ordered in an exchange. Was so shocked by their attitude and made me feel like it was my fault. Worst cs I have seen in a while!
