Bought a Hottub from Heavenly hottubs…

Bought a Hottub from Heavenly hottubs last September( 2024), I found the company could not do enough for us appointments were kept and after several months of use we decided to get a heatpump installed, again everything was explained to me by Jon the owner, he was very prompt and efficient.
Today was the yearly service that we opted in for,
Eillie ( apologies if I've spelt it wrong ) carried out the service, she was very thorough and cleaned and maintained the hottub filters, pipes, internals, and all external fittings.
This company is a family run business and are very customer focused, from my experience in any dealings with them I only have praise for their service and their determination to customer satisfaction.

Shocking experience with Heavenly Hot Tubs

We bought a hot tub from Heavenly Hot Tubs with a 2 year warranty. Just before the warranty expired we were refilling it and touched the water to check the temperature. We both received a shock from the water which was very worrying. We contacted Heavenly Hot Tubs and were told the warranty had expired and he would only come to have it fixed if we paid him £250 + VAT. We obviously had no intention of paying that due to having warranty. Over the next few months and many e mails to and from Jon Mulligan we got nowhere. He even told us to have our own electrician look at it (at our expense) He had told us it was a "component fault" but still refused to come unless we paid £250 + VAT. Eventually we had no choice but to take him the Small Claims Court. It was agreed with The Sheriff that he would come and fix the fault at no cost to us. He did fix it then. We could not use the tub for almost a year and the customer service from this company was truly appalling.

Be careful of after care support

Initially the sale was good but after has been poor communication. Be careful and check your rights to warranty claims as if relationship break down no one else in Scotland can service and you would need to pay

Avoid this company!

Avoid! This company sold as a new hot tub at 10k and a maintenance plan. The heater broke down after two weeks. Then the control panel went. The customer service was the worst we have ever had. Finally the manufacturer came out and told us there were parts in the hot tub that shouldn’t have been in. So our new hot tub was reconditioned. Go elsewhere if you want new products and acceptable customer service.

10/10 customer service and after care

I cannot fault Jon and Heather from the start of this purchase polite explained everything in detail delivered as scheduled. Unfortunately our tub encountered a problem with the paintwork, after Jon contacting the manufacturer, they offered compensation which we refused we wanted a repair. Jon quickly arranged a plastic surgeon to visit and amend the problem which couldn’t be rectified and we are now awaiting a replacement tub all under warranty with the help Jon and Heather amazing customer service would highly recommend

Highly recommend this company

We had our hot tub installed last year and everything from our first visit to the showroom up to the installation was handled with the utmost professionalism. The after-sales care is excellent. We recently had our first annual service and this was a professional and hassle free experience. We’ve had no problems whatsoever in our dealings with this company and highly recommend them.

Booked for someone to come and take a…

Booked for someone to come and take a look at my tub as it was leaking. They gave me a date and I organised a day off work only to get an email that morning saying they had to cancel and would be in contact to reschedule. I waited a week before I had to contact them to be told by Heather she was busy and would get back to me, that was 2 months ago! So glad I went with someone else who done a fantastic job within the week. By all accounts I got a lucky escape going by all the poor reviews. Oh and the chap that did come out and fix it including parts, done everything for LESS than Heavenly Hot Tubs call out fee!

Never use them if you’re looking for…

Never use them if you’re looking for honesty and good service. They tell you one thing in writing and another verbally. Their work is not as they describe and it put our hot tub in jeopardy. Once they have their money their attitude changes.

Avoid

Avoid! Not a Heavenly experience! Fitted a new motor knowingly with the wrong fittings which caused the tub to completely empty , came back with correct fittings but didn't fill or test. When I filled the tub the water failed to heat. then engineer failed to appear to repair on 3 occassions and wouldn't answer phone. When eventually engineer did attend he fitted a heater element which he overcharged for £149.99 plus fitting for a £50 element. In the process he intentionally broke the clips which secure the lid to the tub as he didn't have the correct key leaving the hot tub unsecure and unsafe when you have 4 young children. Promised to send out replacement clips (but not fit, they are sewn into straps) despite contacting "Heavenly hot tubs" still waiting 6 weeks later. I have now had to get a reputable company to attend site as the hot tub is still leaking. The whole episode took 6 weeks and in total "Heavenly hot tubs" charged me £952.97. plus the cost of replacing the clips and calling out a reputable engineer.
