Heavins Hardware Centre is a family run business based in Athlone, Co.Westmeath. The story begins back in January 1984 when Willie and Maureen Heavin started a small Hardware Store at the McCormack Centre in Athlone. Then in the early 90s they moved 300 metres away to a 5000 sq ft premises employing over 10 people (a lot of whom were family members). Fast forward to the 19th May 2007 when we opened our doors to a 17,000 sq ft superstore in Shannon Retail Park beside Smyths Toys and currently employing over 20 people guided by Paul, Derek and Paulette. We are very customer focused and offer the personal experience compared to the big chains and we pride ourselves on customer service and range of products and services.

Felt impersonal. Poor value for money as I did not use the spa. There should be a separate rate for treatments, without the spa.

Order WEB188707 Extremely disappointed with this company. I bought a tablet two weeks ago. The tablet did not meet my needs. I contacted the store to return it and receive my refund and they simply refused. because the box was open. How do you test a product with a sealed box? I don't recommend this store even to your worst enemy. Now I have a tablet that doesn't suit me, the condition of the tablet is as I bought it, it has the side protections, the original box, nothing is damaged or has a scar, to explain this and I can't return it, it's a terrible attitude.

AWESOME SERVICE
Order for kitchen electronic item (at best price available in whole Ireland) was immediately processed and sent to courier. There was some miscommunication regarding the delivery but HEAVINS.IE acknowledged and addressed my concerns at earliest. I would not hesitate to order anything from Heavins.ie again and would recommend it surely.
