I can't recommend Jamie highly enough! From the very beginning, his responsiveness was outstanding — I never had to wait for an answer, and every reply was clear, detailed, and incredibly helpful. He consistently went above and beyond, flagging any potential issues he spotted in the flat I was hoping to buy.

Unfortunately, we had to change plans unexpectedly when the sellers, without any notice, chose another buyer — meaning we could no longer proceed with the survey. Jamie handled the situation with complete professionalism, processing the fee refund quickly and efficiently. Even after that, he continued to support me by answering questions about other properties I was considering.

Jamie is a really nice guy. To be fair to him, he gave us time after his survey to feedback to us.
He spent over 8 (eight) hours surveying our 3 bedroom cottage. He then gave a verbal report after which his client immediately withdrew without any discussion with us.
We have now sold to people who used a different surveyor.
I feel sorry for the previous potential buyer who lost out.
