Top marks again!

Top marks again! These people are the experts! This time I took in my daughter's Ford Fiesta with what I thought were tricky, awkward faults. The problems were quickly diagnosed and I was fully informed of proposed action and costs. The faults were then quickly rectified with a high level of precision and skill making it all seem very straightforward. All so friendly and professional. Very highly recommended.

Very rude when courtesy car was clearly…

Very rude when courtesy car was clearly damaged tried charging my daughter to fetch it and was told by Director Lisa that it was user fault, after my neighbour who came to our rescue pointed out there were lose connections under the bonnet on the battery still we were told they’d charge us to fetch it, no apologies or ever empathy that it wasn’t our fault , when I tried to talk over the phone to Lisa the director I was told that she would only speak to my daughter , I would never recommend this place again very disrespectful disappointing and rude

We’re sorry to hear you are unhappy with how this situation was handled, however we would like to clarify the facts to ensure accuracy.

The courtesy vehicle was supplied under a signed loan agreement, which clearly states that the hirer is responsible for the vehicle whilst in their care. This includes any issues arising from use, such as a discharged battery caused by doors being left open, lights being left on, or similar non-mechanical factors. It also clearly confirms that if a mechanical fault is found to be the cause, no charge would be made.

When the vehicle was collected, it was noted that the window had been left slightly ajar. Following inspection and return of the vehicle, no ongoing fault has been found, and the vehicle has operated normally since.

Regarding communication, we must also be clear that under GDPR regulations, we are only permitted to discuss a customer’s account or vehicle with the person named on the agreement. At the time of contact, the individual you refer to identified themselves as the customer’s manager, however this does not change our obligation to only deal directly with the named hirer.

We understand this may be frustrating, but this is a legal requirement and not a matter of preference.

We are sorry you feel the situation lacked empathy, but we must stand by the correct process that was followed throughout and the terms agreed at the time the vehicle was released.

Excellent service

Have used garage several times for work on my cars,staff always super friendly and helpfull and go out there way with keeping me updated with progress.they collect my car from home and deliver it back to me and even put it away in garage upon delivery,it’s great to use a garage with old school values..can’t highly recommend enough.

Ever, Lisa is so polite and nice.
I've had a new clutch and fly wheel fitted in speedy time

Had cam belt

Had cam belt, water pump, & alternator belt done today.

Cambelt rubbing after they replaced it

Had a cambelt and Clutch replacement here.
Cambelt was made a noise afterwards after a test drive with me, Dan finally heard it. Said it was slightly over tensioned and had it in for repair. Had it back, noise still there but quieter presumed OK.
Took car to VW for something unrelated, at the time it was also making a chirp noise, mechanic commented that it sounded like cambelt was rubbing.
Spoke to Headaux they said didn't trust VW, bring it back into them.
Booked slot week later so could also use courtesy car.
Was booked in for just before 10am, was called told courtsey car wasn't back and aim for 11.30, was already on route.
Went home, heard nothing called shortly before 4pm. No noise could be heard, so can't fix it.... said others had heard it, including me in the morning when dropped off, I would just collect as I was working all weekend in my community role and needed something bit quicker than 1.0 litre I had as a courtsey car.
Asked why it hadnt been mechanically looked at, was told by reception that there was no time so busy despite having a week's notice to allow them time and having it for 5hrs at that point.
Dan asked if he could take it out on the road to hear noise with me.
The noise is best heard inside car, I had my 2 kids with me and wasn't really prepared to leave them.
So how was he gonna hear it with 3 of us, if he hadn't heard it alone on white country road?
Said I'd wasted one hour of his time and got angry - replied I was told to bring car back which I'd done!!!
(What about my wasted time on my day off driving to and from garage?) I didnt say that to him bit my tongue, as I told him wanted my keys not a fight as I had my kids with me.
Spent almost £1400 with them. Won't be spending anymore.
Only getting 3 stars as clutch is fine (so far).
Will go to another garage to get my cambelt done again when I can afford it, as so scared it's gonna snap on me and I need it all day driving round for work 😭

Had the car back twice the first time we noted a very slight noise and checked the tension.
We had the car back for a second time to check for a noise that could not be heard by multiple technicians, asked the customer to demostrate to us the noise and make the car make the noise so we can diagnose, customer was not happy with the loan car we lent them free of charge and would not show us the noise that the car makes or allow us the time it takes to find a noise that can't be heard as they didn't like the loan car.

It's great to find an honest garage…

It's great to find an honest garage that go above and beyond.
I recently had an awful noise coming from the front left of my car, that had got louder and more worrying over a couple of weeks. Called in to the Hedaux Motor company late on a Friday afternoon and even though they were busy, Dan stopped to have a look. He couldn't fix it on the spot but arranged to have my car picked up as soon as they opened on Monday.
A fabulous service as the car was quickly returned with a minor and inexpensive repair resolved.
