Do not buy from this company. I sadly did not read the reviews. Obviously just a scamming, fraudulent website. I am down £40 with no item and no refund.

Avoid at all costs!!!! Items are shipped from China, they are terrible quality and the return costs are HUGE. The website does not mention any of this!! They offered me a 10% refund to keep the terrible clothing rather than return if for a full refund. Even with the huge return costs I would still have made most of my money back. However, over a month later I have still not received my refund. It's all scam!!

Do not buy from this place. Its based in Asia the products are cheap and tacky. If you receive something that resembles the item advertised it will be cheap material badly stitched and nothing what u pay for. Its a scam and don't try and get ur money back cos the address they provide doesn't exist! Another scam. BE WARNED!!!!

The pictures are nothing like you will receive, absolutely awful, I will try and do a screen shot of their items and what I actually received - shocked, please please don’t order from this site. I’m absolutely disgusted

First I waited 3 weeks for this dress. Needed for a Occassion and did not arrived on time! Then when it arrived I totally was in shock, it looked so diffrent then on the picture and the quality. Now I have to send it back to China, which I will loose money. I did not know you have to send back to China and it comes the delivery comes ftom the UK

The corduroy trousers I ordered took 12 days to arrive. When they did finally arrive, the condition of the material and the look of the trousers were appalling. £35 for that!!! What an absolute rip off and scam. I have requested a refund. Cheap and nasty clothing. Do not buy from this company.

Do NOT purchase from here.  Bought the Katty Floral Midi Dress for an upcoming wedding and I was in shock when it arrived.  The colours were neon and completely wrong, the material different than advertised and fit completely wrong with proportions completely different.  Got hold of Helen and James who said because their warehouse is in China (which explains the 3 week delivery wait) they could only offer me a 20% refund or store credit.  Other option is to ship to China for a full refund but with a delivery cost of over £30. Awful item and awful customer service.  Stay well clear!

No returns policy

It's beyond believe that you order an item from Helen and James; same day as the order arrives, you find the quality is not as you expected. You write to them to inform them, ask for a refund and return process; only to be advised to keep the item and gift it; they will refund 10% or 20% of your order value OR you return it to China at a cost of £31.70; the item cost - £34.90. How is this even allowed to happen? HelenandJames should be transparent with buyers and let them know this before orders are placed.

Extremely poor quality garments. Masquerading as a London based company. Not so, they operate from China therefore to return shoddy goods for a refund costs too much. Avoid this site

How do I return items that do not fit? I do not want to pay to send to Asia.

I ordered a jacket advertised as leather, but it turned out to be cheap plastic. It was shipped from the UK, but when I tried to return it, I was told to send it back to China.
Customer service did respond — but always with the same scripted replies, which felt AI-generated and completely unhelpful. My bank asked me to return the item in order to process a refund, so I paid £25 for tracked shipping to China.
Two months later, the parcel came back to me because the company never claimed it.
I only got my money back thanks to my bank — not the seller.
This company is misleading, unprofessional, and not to be trusted.

FAKE. I think this is the same people that do jukes and Josh. It’s as if they are based in England and THEN ITS CHEAP CHKNESE RUBBISH. DO NOT USE EITHER OF THEM.

Please please listen. Do NOT buy from this company. Firstly the pictures you see Do Not match the products you get. I’ve spent £36 to return the item to China and apparently China Post are sending back to me according to Royal Mail with no explanation. This company is went to great lengths to stop me from returning. This issue has been on going since November 24.

Please do not purchase from Helen-London, their products are poorly made, the shape and finish is wrong, and the materials cheap. But more significantly and shocking was the fact that I never received my purchase, they kept saying sorry for the delay, and then eventually I gave up and the said it had been delivered. This was their response to my request for refund:

Thank you for reaching out. We understand that you have not received your package, despite the tracking status showing as delivered. If you still cannot locate your package, we recommend filing a claim directly with the courier or your local postal service. Unfortunately, as the tracking confirms delivery, we are unable to offer a refund or reshipment.

I did not receive my purchase and they are refusing to correct the situation they have put me in.

Same as all the other reviews. Clothes looked nothing like the original pictures and then wanted me to pay to ship the items back to China when I was kicking off about the quality of them.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.
Items are from China and does not mention its from China. Quality are extremely poor. They make you return back to China which costs arm and a leg. £180 jackets looks like £10 from market. Avoid avoid save your money.

The company is a total scam.
I ordered a Large sized pullover which turned out to be tiny when it finally arrived (shipping took nearly 3 weeks from China). This was back in November 2024.
Then the real problems started. Exasperated by their long emails offering various discounts instead of a return - I was eventually sent the return procedure details - which meant I had to pay £12 for a Tracked signed service to ship the pullover back to China. This shipment has now been held in Chinese customs since 9th December.
Whether I get anything back from Helen London is anyone’s guess…
Please take everyone’s advice on this site and DO NOT use or buy from them. They are frauds and a complete waste of time and money…I also intend to report Helen London to UK Trading Standards.
