Do not waste your money on Hannah James Dublin. I was lured in by what looked like high-quality clothing, but the items I received were absolute rubbish and nothing like the photos. I ordered a dress... See more

Not a trustable, seller, Low quality fabric, sizes too big, very late delivery after more than 2 weeks, No local return support
I finished up paying £26 two dresses back to CHINA where they say their warehouse is.
Cheap rubbish clothes, I wasted and lost my money, spent £87, made me fool, will not be buying again and won't recommend either
I have reported this company to fair…
I have reported this company to fair standards and business ombudsman. I ordered cord trousers September 7th. 2 emails and no response within 24 hours (as advertised on their site). Even more confusingly, TEMU seem to be sending me a tracking update which is odd as I am not waiting for anything. Do they buy wholesale from TEMU and then charge 4 times the amount? I have no idea except they are totally unprofessional and very suspicious
You really done want to purchase…
You really done want to purchase anything from Helenandjames.
They ask you accept 10% refund. Then 20% When you do send it back at your own expensive cost as their warehouse is in China. Your retuen lies an a customs hold waiting for them to collect onlyto be ignored.
The same as everyone else
The same as everyone else! This company is a scam and sends rubbish which you can’t return or offer you 10% back! Stay away!!!!
I would give them no stars if it was…
I would give them no stars if it was possible
The item is nothing like what I ordered, just some cheap, poor quality garment if you can call it that.
The refund page has no info that you have to return it to China and incur pretty much the cost of the item to return it or keep the item and they will refund you less 10% less the purchase price.
I would avoid buying from here!
My experience matches that of others
My experience matches that of others. Sincerely wish that I had read them before ordering. I have never bought an item of clothing which has no labeling except the size. No fabric details , no laundering instructions and no supplier label which says it all! Suggesting that I give the items to friends is not something I would do, I would be so ashamed that I had been so misled. To hide behind their eco credentials is shameful marketing. It may not be illegal in regard to UK Trading standards but it is most certainly unethical. Established 1999 it says, London Boutique, Helen and James typically English names, money back guarantee, impressive website. Sadly cheap Chinese imports which you need to return to China as a tracked package at customer cost and their insistence to obtain a full refund. Feels fraudulent to me! Expensive lesson.
Returning poor quality goods to China
It's beyond believe that you order an item from Helen and James; same day as the order arrives, you find the quality is not as you expected. You write to them to inform them, ask for a refund and return process; only to be advised to keep the item and gift it; they will refund 10% or 20% of your order value OR you return it to China at a cost of £31.70; the item cost - £34.90. How is this even allowed to happen? HelenandJames should be transparent with buyers and let them know this before orders are placed.
Told to return odered items to CHINA
Told to return odered items to CHINA - at your own expense !!!
Beware !!! Return costs may exceed your order value !!!
Rogues and mountebanks - Avoid!
On 30th May 2025 I ordered a leather jacket from this company, advertised at a great discount as part of their closing-down sale, allegedly.
Good thing they are closing down, as, after waiting 6 weeks for delivery, I received a pathetic garment that has only a passing resemblance to the one advertised, is not leather, is the wrong size and is so thin and light I could almost spit through it.
It is also supposed to have been hand-made by an artisan, according to them. Well, I fell for a bargain that was too good to be true. They are still advertising their wares online, but don't buy anything from them. Rogues and mountebanks is what they are.
