Generally any fresh vegetables are…

Generally any fresh vegetables are already turning the day it turns up, I’ve had multiple issues with the ice packs splitting and covering the food. Also had time where I paid for a premium duck meal for the duck to be replaced with chicken.

It’s really hit and miss

It’s really hit and miss, often finding core ingredients (like the meat or fish) missing from the delivery. I’ve also recently found a bone in my diced chicken breast and always their go-to solution is to offer credit rather than money back in our account.

The only reason I’ve stayed with HelloFresh is for the convenience. Standards are definitely gone downhill.

Generally great but with some real issues

I’m genuinely a big fan, but a couple of things stop me raving about HelloFresh as loudly as I’d like.

A) Frequent missing ingredients. Way too many times something is missing from the box. It looks like your process has flaws

B) I have a food intolerance ( potatoes) but there is nowhere to register this so I dont keep getting offered recipes full of potato portions. Please!

Iron out these faults and Im then a complete fan. Thanks

Frustrated

I must say the food is okay. However delivery is a problem and despite repeated complaints it has not improved. I didn’t bother to complain when they left my box at the gate next to the bins. We have a long drive and a very visible step! We have also had missing ingredients and one week a random bag of ingredients that did not match the recipe. I have stopped complaining and will probable stop altogether soon.
My daughter in York does seem not have any problems.

Have been using for nearly a year

Have been using for nearly a year, majority of the time very good, with excellent ingredients but meat portions could be bigger. Sometimes ingredients can be missing or no instructions sent which can be really annoying especially when you are paying higher than supermarket prices, also kind of defeats the reason for doing this service, which in my case is for convenience and time saving.

This weeks box never came

This weeks box never came. Every day I was told it’s on its way.” We have till 9pm to deliver.”
Told me it would still come, when it was 8:55pm and still in packing.
I waited as late as possible each day and then had to either make up a meal from our pantry or go last minute shopping.
Issues happen- but the info from customer services was worse than useless.

Every week most of the veg is turning…

Every week most of the veg is turning off before I use! The meats have very short dates on bread rolls going green and stale I’m seriously considering cancelling my orders, I would NEVER recommend this company

Hello Fresh

Hello Fresh, meals from scratch offer a huge variety of great meals. Personally I would never purchase items in supermarket or grocery store and make meals suchlike as this. And perfect portion size. E.g. red cabbage, i never buy. Red cabbage & leek. Apple sauce made with real apple. All so very delicious and a refreshing change. Very out of the ordinary to my pallet. The quality and quantity of produce is excellent. Delivery is a bit of a headache, depending in yiur lifestyle. If you're at home all day and available for last minute update of when you're parcel will be delivered and prepared for your parcel to be delivered more than an hour later than expected, you'll be fine. Myself I expect, punctuality and correctness if delivery. But the meals are great. Two servings a meal are generous and can transpire to four meals in some instances in serving one menu for two days. Menus and instructions are well paced and set out too. And delightfully illustrated.

I literally can not live without hello…

I literally can not live without hello fresh, we live quite remote and I have to rush back from work to care for my four children (two of which are disabled) so there isn’t time to shop after work. On the weeks we don’t have hello fresh we just end up having take aways. Great healthy, fresh meals

Food great , delivery not good

Food is great no waste Tasty love the sauces . Delivery awful, food gone to different addresses ,not turned up, turned up one hour early or four hours late. I understand being early or late but no messages about what going on.

I'd really like the option

I'd really like the option, similar to swapping out the meat, to have different leaner meat options. So be able to choose regular minced beef or 5% minced beef.

All round easy meal making

I like how easy it is to order, the food is easy to put together and the recipe cards are easy to follow. The food tastes great too! The ingredients are good quality and the majority are from England which is lovely to see.
