I have recently been a little critical…
I have recently been a little critical of HelloFresh, primarily for items missing for our meals, and less so the quality of some vegetables recently. I appreciate how difficult it must be to get fresh vegetables especially during times of rain and summer heat. HelloFresh on some occasions have notified me via text of items that have been swapped out and why, so I do appreciate that.
This last week has been very good. The meals we had were wonderful, and makes life so much easier in a busy household. One thing I’d like to suggest to those with “youngish” children, the recipes are a great way to get them more involved and eventually more independent when they have to cook for themselves.

This is the first time in my life that I enjoy cooking in a simple but happy way: not worry about these: right combination of the ingredients, or the time consuming shopping or wasting food, or eating the same, or spending hours cooking something that you don’t know at the end if it’s gonna work when you’re NOT a cook! A little disappointed
We are enjoying the flavours and
ease of preparing our meals.
Unfortunately we have had a couple of weeks where our orders have not turned up until the next day and we have found them to not last the distance of the week as when they are delivered on time. It was said it was due to weather conditions - we did not have a weather issue where we are.
Otherwise all is very much enjoyed. Thanks you.

Hello fresh is good value for money. The choices are incredible sometimes it’s hard to make a choice. The products are always fresh, the portions are spot on therefore no waste. I also find the pricing is extremely fair Since using hello fresh I spend a lot less money at the supermarket I only buy what I really need therefor I have no waste. The meals have been great!
The Mel’s have been great and enjoyed by all members of the family. I find the portions are quite generous. I think the key is to carefully choose your meals, not rely on the default selection for the week.

It’s convenient
It’s convenient.
They suffer from “cut and paste” menus, the ingredients don’t always match the dream created in the pictures. Example, I don’t think I have ever had a colourful red chilli for decoration, Green just doesn’t cut it, except for flavour.
I’m currently cooking a byriani, top with coriander leaves for decoration, I put stalks and roots in the dish for extra flavour.
My fridge/pantry contain the basic necessities that are likely to be missing in the bags, plus extra yoghurt, sour cream, spices and an extra zucchini or similar.
I’m only feeding two, I’m male, 70yrs old and I cook every night. Sometimes I manage to make a lunch for the following day from the evenings delectation. I work full time.
I have tried other meal plans, much of a muchness but came back to HelloFresh for the variety vs the $$.
They try to do the right thing, the spin off, Everyplate was substandard but cheap and cheerful.
I’m still ordering, go figure.
